(Leon was born with a speech Defect. He was never taught to read, write or speak but taka won't give up on him)

Takas pov

I was sitting outside reading when I felt a pair of arms wrap around me. I smiled knowing it was Leon. Thanks to the poor treatment he suffered throughout his life he didn't trust many people. I'm one of the only people he trusts and it took me a while to gain his trust.

"hey Leon" I said petting his head. "Im reading a book right now. Would you like me to read to you?"

He nodded excitedly and nuzzled into me. I giggled. He's so cute. I've been doing my best to teach him how to read and write and he's been doing well. He truly is a bright boy. It's just no one's giving him a chance thanks to his speech defect.

I started reading to him and he listened to me intentively. I wish I could teach him how to talk but I don't quite know how to. He has such a big personality and I'd love for him to be able to express it.

Once I finished the chapter he jumped on my knee and cuddled into me. I hugged him back laughing. He's such a good boy.
