Four years later

"mommy look what I brought you" I turned around to see my daughter lexi holding a bunch of pretty flowers. She had black hair tied up in pigtails and bright red eyes.

"aww thanks baby" I said kissing her on the forehead "I'll put these in a special vase"

I pulled out a vase, wrapped a red ribbon round it and put the flowers inside.

"yay!" lexi said clapping her hands delightedly.

"I'm back" taka called walking into the room.

"daddy!" lexi yelled running excitedly to her father.

"hey darling" he said scooping her up in his arms. He looked over at the vase "where'd you get these flowers honey?" he asked me.

"lexi brought them in for me" I said.

"she did?" he gasped "lexi there beautiful! Where'd you find them?"

"that's a secret" she said putting her finger to her lips.

I couldn't help but laugh at her. God my girls cute!
