Nightmare

Leon's pov

I woke up to a loud scream. I ran into the main room to find taka curled up in a ball sobbing.

I slowly walked up to him as to not startle him and gently pulled him into a hug. He yelped at the sudden contact.

"shhh buddy it's ok it's just me" I said gently stoking his hair.

"mmm leon" he whimpered.

"what's wrong baby" I asked gently.

"I had an awful dream. Everyone who died in the killing game came to my room and they blamed me for thier deaths. Mondo grabbed me and forced me to watch his execution again. No matter how much I screamed and begged them to stop they wouldn't! It just kept going and going and-"

"shhhhh it's alright now it was just a bad dream" I said rocking him back and forth soothingly.

"but what if its what I deserve?" he whimpered.

"it's not baby I promise" I said firmly.

"Umm could you spend the night with me?" he said shyly.

"of course! Anything to make you feel safer" I climbed into bed with him and he snuggled into me. It was kinda cute. I wrapped my arms around him and watched him fall asleep.
