Sorry for the shortness of this chapter. There should be some longer ones coming. I hope. We'll see;)
Chapter ten: What’s School Without Drama?
*RILEY’S POV*
Where do you go when your heart has just been shattered? Normally, I would have found peace in the forest just outside of school. In light of recent events though, I couldn’t bare going back into that forest. I shuddered at the memory of the man. Who does something like that?
I walked outside into the rain and found myself heading towards the library. I don’t know what it is about books, but they always seem so comforting to me. I’m honestly not sure. I can just sit in the library, and being surrounded by all the works of art sitting on the shelf, and I feel safe and relaxed. Entering the library though, I decided I should probably leave right away. Both Ryan and Reese were sitting in there on opposite sides of the room. I couldn’t bare another fight breaking out because of me.
I sighed and started turning back to the exit. The I heard a voice call,” Riley! Wait!” Damn, I was caught. I stood there waiting. I was greeted by Reese, who grabbed my hand as soon as he was within reach. “What’s up?”
“I just thought I’d tour around the school, get a hang on everything,” I lied.
“When it’s raining cats and dogs outside?” He said with a wry smile. That phrase with a British accent made me smile back. It sounded so strange but yet so right coming from his mouth.
“Uh-“ I stuttered.
“You didn’t want to go into the library did you? Does it still hurt to see him?” Reese asked seriously. I nodded my head. “Come on, let’s go somewhere where we can just be alone together and you can talk about it, okay?” I nodded again and we started walking outside. Reese led me around to the back of the library building. There sat a little, old, abandoned looking house. The paint on the outside was chipping, but for the most part it looked safe.
We hustled inside and I was shocked to see how warm it was. On the inside it looked like a house that somebody’s grandma would live in. “How’d you know about this place?” I asked, still a little in awe.
“It was my great grandmothers; she passed away recently and left this house to my mom. She didn’t want to sell it, and she figured, since its right outside of school grounds, I could come here to escape from all the stress,” He explained then sat down on the couch that was against the far wall. “Here, have a seat.”
I walked over to him and sat down on the opposite end of the couch. He scooted over next to me and put an arm around my shoulders. I laid my head on his shoulder and sighed. “I see how you could escape here. It’s beautiful.”
“Yeah, it is. Nothing here was changed since she passed. It was too hard for me to move anything even. It felt as if I would be trying to forget her,” Reese said sincerely. “Now, what’s been bugging you sweetheart?”
“Well, it’s just the whole thing with Ryan not explaining a single reason why we couldn’t be together or anything. Right after I declared my love for him. He just brushed me off and left.” I said.
“Well, you know what I think you should do?” Reese said, a wicked smile appearing on his face.
“What?” I asked looking at him curiously.
“I think you should…”
*BLAZE’S POV*
“What do you mean you know it was me?” I shouted at my father. He called me in his office in the middle of lunch because somebody said that I had broken the statue of Queen Elizabeth.
“You were the only out there during that time frame!” He yelled back. His face was beginning to turn red with anger, and I feared mine wasn’t that far behind.
“I wasn’t the one that did it!” I yelled back. “I was going to my dorm room, I wasn’t even anywhere close to the statue!”
“Well, I’m sorry, but unless you can prove it, you’re going to be grounded to your dorm,” He said. I stomped out of his office and sprinted all the way back to my dorm room. I cannot believe that my own father thinks I would do a stunt like this! I mean, yeah, I am a troublemaker. But I most certainly am not destructive!
Grounded to my dorm. This is just great. I can only go to classes and meals now. If mom were here….
“Whatever, who cares anyways?” I muttered to myself before starting on my homework.

I heard a slam and jumped out of my chair. I didn’t even realize that I had fallen asleep until I was rudely woken up. I turned around and saw Riley. She looked pissed off and she stormed to her bed and laid down.
I didn’t even dare to say a single word to her. I feared that if I did then she would snap at me. We just sat there in complete silence for a while.
“Why do guys have to be so confusing?” Riley piped up and glanced over at me.
“I don’t know, but if you’re talking about my brother, then I suggest you ask him what’s going on,” I suggested. “He does really like you. I’m sure he’d trust you to know what’s going on in that little pea brain of his.”
That last statement got her to laugh, and I felt slightly accomplished. “What should I do with Reese though?” She asked. I had forgotten about her little romance with Reese.
“Well, I’m not exactly sure what you should do there. But I do know he likes you,” I said gritting my teeth together. Then I continued on. “Just be very careful with Reese. He’s not exactly the best guy to piss off.”
She nodded and rolled back over. She stayed silent for a while, so I assumed she fell asleep. Soon after I had got up to lay down as well.

Well, i really hope that you enjoyed this chapter. I had some difficulty with trying to tie in everything. There will probably at max be about 20 chapters. Possibly.
Huge question for you guys: What actor/actress should play Ryan, Riley, and Blaze? Because I honestly have no idea who would fit for them.
But anyways, i really really hope you enjoyed Chapter ten! I'm not going to have a whole bunch of time to write today because i have a pep rally. GO WOLFPACK WRESTLERS! So yeah, your just gonna have to be patient if you want anoher chapter.
