Sorry it's late, and I'm sorry if it sucks. Be warned, I'm pouring my emotions into this one!

The Big Break Up
***
*RILEYS POV*

Why didn't she introduce me and John? I thought to myself in confusion when I sat down on my bed later that evening. John had come to pick Blaze up half an hour ago, and she didn't even make a mention to me. Ryan had told me to try and be away from Reese so that she could without them blowing up in each other's faces. But she won't introduce us.

Part of me tells me to just let it go and be happy for her. The other half of me is upset. I thought I was her best friend. Obviously she really doesn't care much.

Ring! Ring! Ring!

I glanced at my phone and smiled.

"Hey, Blake I'm sorry I can't. I'm taken by a very sweet guy," I said teasingly when I answered the phone.

"Haha very funny Riley," Reese replied sarcastically. "But thanks for actually admitting your with me. Like boyfriend girlfriend. "

I laughed. "What's up Reese?" I rolled over on my bed and leaned my head on my hand.

"Just thinking of a very beautiful girl," he replied. My cheeks instantly turned red. "Ooh somebody's blushing!" He said when I didn't reply.

"I-but-i"

"Haha I know you are babes," he replied. "Anyways, I just wanted to let you know I will be picking you up at seven sharp to go to the pub."

"Okay, see you then." I replied.

"See you," he said before hanging up. I sighed and tossed my phone next to me. I took a deep breath and stood up.

I rummaged through my dresser drawer and picked out my clothes. Oh this night will be one we both remember.

-Two hours later-
Knock knock.

I stood up off the bed and opened the door. Standing there was Reese looking to die for.

Reese's hair was the perfect kind of styled messy. He was in a black button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. He was wearing faded jeans and black and dark blue sneakers. I bit my lip to keep myself from doing something stupid. Keep your cool Ri, it's just Reese.

When I glanced back to his eyes, they showed the exact emotion I was feeling.

Tonight I threw on a skin tight black mini skirt and a dark blue tank top that dipped low in the front. I paired this with my favorite silver flats. I know what I'm wearing is on the verge of sluttiness, but we are going to party!

"You- uh- you- um... you look fantastic," he stuttered. I ccouldn't help but smile at his reaction.

"So do you," I said, keeping my voice under control. I stood on my tip toes and pecked his lips.

Right when I was moving away, Reese wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me flush against him. He tilted my head towards him and leaned down. His lips met mine and my heart stopped and butterflies were going crazy in my stomach.

One of his arms slid down my side to my waist. It kept trailing down and stopped on the hem of my mini skirt.

A pang of fear shot through me like white hot fire. I pulled away, and his arm dropped away.

"Well, um, shall we go?" I said nervously.

"Y-yeah," he said trying to compose himself. He stepped out of the doorway and hooked his arm through mine. He escorted me to his car.

"How far away is this pub exactly?" I asked sitting down.

"About fifteen minutes away," he replied shutting the door behind me.

He hopped in on the drivers side and started the car. I sighed and turned on the stereo and got comfortable.

About fifteen minutes later we arrived at the pub. Reese stopped the car and ran over to my side and opened it for me. "And they said chivalry was dead!" I said smiling. Reese laughed and reached out to take my hand. He led me straight into the club. Music was blaring every time the door opened.

We walked in and Reese led me to a small booth. "Wait here, I'm going to get us a couple drinks." I nodded and sat down.

A few minutes later I saw Blaze walking up with John. She was giggling at something he had said. Giggling. What has that boy done yo her?

"Hey girl!" She slurred, trying to shout over the music. She's drunk.

"Hey!" I shouted back and stood up to give her a hug. "What's up?"

"Partying!" She said shaking her hips and giggling. Then she leaned in a said softer, "I might even go all the way with him tonight." My eyes widened and she just put her finger to her lips and went shhh. Very drunk. I thought to myself, silently laughing at how goofy she's acting.

"Have fun," I replied dismissively.

"You had better do it with Reese before its too late," she said pointing at Reese, who happened to be talking to a very pretty blond barista. I thought back to when he picked me up and how much he seemed to want me at that moment.

"What do you think I can't keep hold of my own boyfriend?" I said, growing angry.

"He's Reese. Big time bad boy player. Like he's going to change his ways for you?" She snapped. "Your not that great! Or that pretty! He just wants to use you! Your pretty much worthless-"

"Fine, I don't care. If you believe I'm worthless then maybe we shouldn't be friends anymore!" I yelled back. "Go away!"

"Whatever. You look slutty anyways." She commented before turning on her three inch heels and walked away.

I rolled my eyes. Who needs her? I thought angrily to myself.

Reese came back a couple minutes later two drinks occupying his hands, "who's that girl?" I asked thinking back to what Blaze said.

"Who? The barista?" He asked and I nodded. "She's my cousin, Makayla."

"Oh," I said feeling like crap for doubting him.

"Why?" He asked.

"Blaze said somethin about- you know, never mind. Can I stay with you for a while? Me and her kind of got into a fight." I asked.

"Yes, of course," he said and kissed my lips softly.

Okay. So there is chapter eighteen! I hope you enjoyed. It took me a while to write it. Especially since I have to write on my phone now that I lost my school laptop.

On the bright side, it is summer vacation now!
