Chapter Three: The New Roommate

*RILEY'S POV*

After what seemed like forever, I was finally able to escape the headmaster's office with a stern, "Be on your best behavior girls, and Blaze, do be sure that she stays out of your shenanigans."

After that we raced to our dorm to get ready for our first day, starting in an hour. "Alright, schedule," Blaze demanded as soon as I got into my uniform. "You look great in that by the way."

"Thanks," I muttered looking in our full length mirror. It was a traditional uniform, a light gray skirt, white button down shirt with a gray jacket. A yellow and blue striped tie was required as well. To me the whole get up screamed snob, but then again, this is England. Then again, I had to agree, it did suit me quite well. The all the light colors really brought out the dark in my hair and eyes.

"Alright, I see you have maths first with Mr. Bellevue. Good luck, he's a total ass to newcomers.  But we'll get through it together. One secret is that I am amazing at maths, so don't fret if you don't understand. Next you have English literature, dull. Then a free period." She said, "They start out our first day light, but then you'll be begging for free period. Every two weeks they give you a chart for the next two weeks. Every day will be different. So get used to it. Class starts 8 am sharp."

"This is quite a lot to take in," I said, dazzled by how much she knows about this school. But then again, I'm not too surprised since she is the headmaster's daughter.

"It is, now, you should be happy you're roomies with me, we get a private bathroom. The other girls in the dorm, besides the head girl, Naomi Scott, have to share a public restroom. So consider yourself lucky. I am also the biggest troublemaker here, and you will be joining me in my schemes. Got it?" She said.

"Got it," I said nodding, terrified of pissing this girl off. She's seems like the kind of girl that could easily get away with murdering somebody.

"Good. Now let's get to brunch. Classes start at noon today. I'll help you unpack during free period," She said nodding towards my pile of trunks and boxes. I nodded and we both walked out of the room.

Brunch was hectic. There were hundreds of people in there already, and a line going through the kitchen still. "Jesus, how many kids go here?" I asked in awe.

"About a thousand something," She said shrugging and pushed through the crowd. "Move it! New girl coming through!" I blushed as everyone stared at me. I should be used to this staring; I was always top girl in Malibu. What's happened to me? Are my nerves really bugging me that much?

As I passed through the line I heard a lot of whispers, most of what I heard I didn't understand. I did catch some comments from guys saying," New girl is hot!"

"Ew American!" said some of the girls. I guess they didn't get a lot of Americans here. I had to say, I was not feeling the love.

After finally getting through the kitchen, we made our way to a table. I noticed Blaze was heading in the direction of where Reese was sitting. Does she like him? She was smiling, and he was smiling back. I felt a pang of... Jealousy? No, it couldn't be. I just met Reese. How could I be jealous? I should be happy that they are happy, right?

"Hiiii Reese!" She singsonged when we reached the table.

"Hello Blaze, nice to see you again Riley," Oh those dimples. "How are you ladies doing today, getting around okay?"

"Well duh," Blaze said sitting down and gestured for me to sit. So I sat next to her in between her and Reese. "I already got a supplier for the stuff."

"The good stuff?" Reese asked.

"Hell yeah!" Blaze cheered. "Riley, you are in good hands here. You're already in the popular group!"

"Hell yeah!" Reese yelled high fiving Blaze. So Reese is like a Brandon. Got it. Top boy. I probably shouldn't get too cozy with him. That's just a heartbreak waiting to happen.

"Yo, Ri, you cool?" Blaze asked, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Oh, yeah, of course," I said trying to sound calm and nonchalant. Blaze raised an eyebrow as if not believing me, but she didn't say anything. I had a feeling I was going to get grilled about this later. That's just lovely.

"Yo! Parker come meet the new girl!" Reese yelled to someone. A few seconds later we were greeted by a boy with shaggy brown hair and bright green eyes.

"Well, hello gorgeous," He said smiling at me.

"Uh, hi," I said, a blush reddening my cheeks. Does every English guy have to be so cute?! "How are you?" I asked, trying to keep from embarrassing myself on my first day.

"Well fabulous now that I met you, beautiful," He replied. Damn! He is hardcore flirting.

"Oh, now stop it Parker. Leave the poor girl alone. She's not going to be another one of your flings!" Blaze said in my defense. So, Parker is a player. Great. Just great. Any guy I think could be a good boyfriend turns out that he won't be my boyfriend.

"Drop it Blaze," Parker said in a dead serious tone. Things just felt awkward now. Did him and Blaze have a history or something? I'll have to look into that later. Maybe Reese knows.

"So Reese, how did you get to know the new girl?" Parker asked.

"Her name is Riley. And because I went to go pick her up at the airport, remember? I told you this yesterday when we were playing pool," Reese replied.

"Was I drunk when you said that?" Parker inquired. So these guys already drink? Wow.

"When aren't you when we play pool?" Blaze cut in.

Parker laughed and then said," You have a point girl. You seem a little feisty, miss this sexy body already?" Blaze blushed. So they did have a history.

A bell chimed and people started standing up. "Looks like it's time for us to go to class Ri, let's go," Blaze said walking away, not even looking to see if I was following.

"Welcome to Wellington Academy, Riley," Mr. Bellevue said the moment I walked in. "This is maths. I read in your file that maths was one of your highest classes in Malibu. I hope you prosper well here."

"Thank you Mr. Bellevue," I said taking an empty seat. A lot of other kids, including Parker walked in. He sat right next to me.

"So you're in here too," He whispered. His voice sounded so sexy and deep.

"Yeah," I whispered back.

"We'll get through this hell together."

"Alright class, quiet down. We have a new student today," Mr. Bellevue said from the front of the room. "Ms. Anderson, will you please stand up and introduce yourself?"

"Certainly Mr. Bellevue," I said standing up," Well, my name is Riley Anderson. I'm from Malibu, California. Which yes, is in the USA."

"Nice to meet you Riley," The class chorused and I sat down. Then the teacher began his lesson, and I struggled to keep up. They were way ahead of where I was in Algebra II in America. This really will be hell.

Phew, two chapters in a day! Let's try for three shall we?! Well I hope. If i dont get it up tonight, it should be sometime tomorrow maybe. I'm going for the 10,000 romance story for Valentine's day, so wish me luck!

I really hope you enjoyed this chapter! i'm working my butt off on this book. This is probably my favorite one so far that i've written. So I really hope y'all are enjoying it!

I'm thinking maybe putting Alex Pettyfer as Reese (I absolutely adore Alex Pettyfer!) but i need ideas for Parker, Riley, and Blaze. Damn, Blaze's will be difficult. Its gotta be someone who can pull off being a total badass!
