Chapter 7 Part 3: Sabine

"If you found out the truth, would you still love me?"

boxes of pizza were placed on the table in the living room. You can really tell by the aroma lingering around the room that the pizza would taste good. 2 of them were already opened and the others were eating. Both of them grabbed a slice of pizza from the boxes that were already opened. Sage then sat down in the comfy sofa and took a bite on her piece. The pizza was good ol' pepperoni pizza and as expected, it was delicious. Jett was sitting on the floor and was messing around with Phoenix.

Killjoy however was sitting on the opposite side of the sofa where Sage was also sitting. She seems to be focused on her phone while smiling. She was chatting somebody as she slouch on the couch. Sometimes she wonders if the other agents are in a relationship too. Killjoy then stood up from the comfortable couch and walked over to the kitchen with a smile on her face and a slice of  pizza on her hand that was still quite hot to her touch.

Sage savored her pizza slice in the corner when suddenly she realized that she had left her phone in the room. She was going to get it but she was already comfortable sitting in the couch and didn't want to stand up.
Jett noticed Killjoy going to the kitchen, her eyes followed as shewalk by. The white haired girl then stood up from the ground she was sitting on and followed Kj to the kitchen. "Psst, Kj! Don't tell anybody about earlier okay?"

By the time that happened Sage had already finished her pizza, she smiled at Killjoy as their eyes meet.

The German nervously chuckled at the korean as she quickly turned off her phone. "Too late." She grabbed a slice of pizza that was still a little bit hot. Sage noticed the two in the corner of her eyes and was curious about what they were talking about. "What are you tlaking about?" Jett whisper-shouted at the girl with glasses.

"She's probably not even interested about it." Killjoy said chuckling at Jett, carefree. Sage decided to stand up from the comfy sofa and walked over to the both of them, leaving the others in the living room have their fun. The girl wearing a beanie took a bite of her pizza and accidentally burned her tongue in the process. Is this karma or what? She thought. Not being able to chew it in one place, she chew it aggressively and then quickly swallow it. Jett laughed at the German's actions with a smile Sage could never get tired looking at it. Killjoy sticks out her tongue and attempted to blow it. "Mein gott... Beruhigen"

"It's just my girlfriend."

Killjoy said just in time when Sage had entered the scene. Both of them widen their eyes in disbelief. The Chinese woman stood there confused about what she just heard since there was no context to it. On top of that, they didn't know Killjoy had a significant other or being specific, a girlfriend. The white haired girl couldn't help cover her mouth in shock. Her shocked face soon turned into a smile and said, "You have a girlfriend?" She nudged her while raising her eyebrows up and down.

"Wait, what are you both talking about?" Sage asked still in disbelief and confusion about what she just heard. The two of the girls talking looked directly at her and greeted her. The korean gladly explained the situation to her. She quietly said it, not wanting the others to hear them.

"Let's also keep it a secret." Sage and Jett nodded at the woman wearing glasses. Now both of them knows their secret. It was like they exchanged knowledge about each other. Honestly it felt like their friendship deepened after learning more about each other.

Then the German's phone vibrated. Her girlfriend must've replied to her message already. Jett immediately looks at her phone as Killjoy opened it to see if it really was her girlfriend's reply or just a random notification. "어머나! it's real." (Oh my goodness!) The white haired girl said with both of her eyebrows raised as she look over to the phone. Surely she was surprised that killjoy really told about it to someone else meaning she wasn't fully taking the German seriously earlier.
