Sage wakes up as the sunlight from the window shines on her closed eyes. She tried to stand up but soon realized the korean was still clinging to her. She checks her phone to see what time is it. It was still quite early so she decided not to get up just yet.

'I.. Should stop acting like this with Jett'

The chinese girl thought looking at the sleeping duelist who was still hugging her, sleeping soundly. The duelist slowly wakes up. "Hey" Jett says with a raspy voice. "Hi" Sage replied with a dazzling smile. Jett felt her heart skip a beat. 'What a beautiful sight to wake up to' She unwrapped her arms around the healer. She fixed her position in the bed and looked at the girl beside her. "Good morning, the love of my life" Jett half jokingly say. The healer chuckles, knowing she was only joking. The white haired girl cupped the girl's face and kissed her softly. The chinese girl was startled. Her eyes widen in shock. She snaps back into reality and pushes the white haired girl with little force. She covers her mouth in shock.

Jett realized her mistake. 'Just now, what was that look on her face?' She thought looking at Sages expression. "W-Why did you kiss me just now?" The chinese girl questioned with a faint blush. "Geez, it was just a joke..." Jett avoided the question. "So you just go around kissing other people as a joke?" Sage frowned in disbelief.

'But you're not other people'

Jett thought to herself before replying differently. "Oh my what is this? You only want my kisses for yourself? What a naughty friend... Tsktsktsk" The duelist teased her with still a bit of a raapy voice. "What?! Of course not! What the heck is wrong with you?!" Sage slaps her shoulder lightly.

The both of them got out of the bed and went to the bathroom to brush their teeth. None of them decided to talk and so the only noise in the bathroom was the toothbrush in contact with their teeth. Jett spits the toothpaste out and washes her face as well. "Were you really angry?" Jett broke the ice between them. "Yes, you shouldn't be kissing me on the lips" The healer replied considering she already have a girlfriend. She isn't the type of person to cheat no matter how much she despise her partner. She spits out the toothpaste and washes her face as well. Both of them dried their face dripping with water.

The two of them stood still in front of the mirror. "We're bestfriends." Jett looks at her seriously. "We are and thats the worst part..." Sage replied to her leaning closer kissing her cheek before leaving the room. The korean felt her heart shattering into small pieces at the reply.

Jett went back to her bed thinking about Sage's reply. Her heart sunk and everything just feels like it's about to shatter. 'could this have gone differently if we weren't bestfriends in the first place?' The white haired girl questioned herself as she dwindled herself into a ball. Maybe she hadn't fully understood what Sage meant. She laid down on her bed fully spreading her arms and legs like a star. Her hand covered the cheek Sage had gently kissed without her even noticing.
