I look to my left and see Todoroki standing there, a slight frost over his left side.
"Are you alright?" He asks me.
"Yeah I'm fine. Thanks for the save," I respond.
He nods his head before turning his attention to the villains.
"Isn't it embarrassing, losing to a child? You guys are adults, put up a real fight," he says.
"In a matter of a few minutes, the ice surrounding your bodies will slowly kill off your cells, leaving you dead. If you do not wish for this to happen, I suggest you tell me what your plan is here."
"Damn, he's really not holding back," I think to myself.
I stand back a few meters from Todoroki and the villains, and let Todoroki do the interrogating. I feel this whole thing might have been a bit too easy. Sure Todoroki is strong, but still. These villains probably thought this out for quite a while, and I doubt they'd let themselves be defeated that easily. The thought sends a shiver down my spine, and I put my senses on high alert.
"Hey Todoroki," I say, and he turns to face me. "I have a bad feeling about this, maybe we should go find the others now."
"Your right, I say we check th-"
"Todoroki watch out!" I yell.
As if on cue, suddenly a villain falls down from the sky, blade in hand. My quick reflexes come in handy, and I manage to push a confused Todoroki out of harm's way, before rolling to the side to avoid the villain's attack.
"The villain must have some sort of climbing quirk, as he must've been hanging from the ceiling or something, waiting to strike," I think.
And because I get lost in the thoughts of how we let our guard down, the villain takes this opportunity to swing his blade at my stomach, and I barely dodge it. Even so, a small cut is made across my mid section. I need to be more aware, or I could very well end up dying.
Todoroki is still shaken up on the ground from when I pushed him, so I'm gonna have to fight this one on my own. Besides, he needs to keep his eye on the villains he encased in ice, so they don't slip out without us noticing.
I return my attention to the villain, who is now approaching me. I focus my energy into the bottom on my feet, and with a stomp, the ground breaks up underneath him. I follow up with a medium sized energy ball, and launch it at his gut. It hits him square on, without giving him any time to react. He falls back, and doesn't move, so I assume he's been knocked out. Todoroki proceeds to encase his lower half in ice, so if he wakes up, he won't be able to attack again.
I approach Todoroki as I examine my side. It's not too deep of a cut, and although it hurts, I'll live.
"Yeah Todoroki, we kicked ass!" I say holding my hand out for a high five. He lightly claps my hand, and I swear I see him smile a bit, which isn't a common occurrence with him.
"Are you alright? Did he cut you deep?" He asks.
"Nothing I can't handle," I respond. "It is a bugging pain though."
"Do you want me to try to help it. I can freeze the area to numb it until you get actual medical help. That is if it's not too weird."
"No not at all. That would be great actually," I say.
I lift my shirt up a bit to reveal my stomach, where he made the cut. Todoroki places his right hand on it, and begins to lightly freeze the area. Although it's still bleeding a bit, most of the pain has gone away which I'm thankful for. And although I won't admit it, I kinda liked the feeling of his touch, even if it was just for a few seconds.
"Alrighty then. We should focus on finding the others," I say.
Just then, the ground shakes a bit, coming from the area located just below the stairs. Our attention is focused on the now heated battle going on, where we see our teacher, along with some classmates, fighting.
"We gotta go," says Todoroki.
"Right, I got this one," I say.
Using my telekinesis, I pick us up off the ground, and fly us over the river, where we take shelter behind a huge rock, a good place to observe the battle without being seen. I notice Sue, Midoriya, and Mineta crouched down in the river, also observing and waiting for a good moment to strike.
I change my field of vision to the two villains and our teacher just a few yards away. Mr. Aizawa seems pretty beat up and is barely alive, being held by the huge purple thing. There's also a pale, blue skinned guy, with multiple fake hands spread across his body. I look over at Todoroki, and see he has the same thoughts as me. We need to get Mr. Aizawa out of harm's way, and fast.
"I think we should split up. I'll go left towards the water, and you go right. I think my quirk has a better chance at getting Mr. Aizawa out of there, and the view from the water will give me the best chance. You can sneak in behind them, ready to attack if necessary." I say.
"Sounds good to me. Good luck." He says, and I smile before making my way over.
Just as I'm about to reach the base of the water, I see the blue guy appear in front of Sue and the other two.
"Damn he's fast," I think.
He reaches his hand out to touch Sue's face, and although I don't know what his quirk is, I don't think touching her will end well. I quickly use my telekinesis to grab the three of them, and pull them over to where I'm standing, just before he can touch them.
"Hey guys, what's up." I say.
I look over, well, down, at Mineta, and see he's crying a river.
"Thanks Y/N! That was close!" Says Midoriya.
"Yeah, a little too close," I respond.
"His quirk disintegrates whatever he touches, by the way, so it's good you got us out of there," he adds.
"Were you teleported all by yourself?" Asks Sue.
"No, I found Todoroki, who was nearby, but we split up when we came back over here. He should be somewhere back there now," I say, pointing to the direction Todoroki went.
"Guys, I know it's good we found each other, but Mr Aizawa laying over there, and he doesn't look too good," says Mineta, clearly panicked. He has a point though. We need to get Mr. Aizawa away from there, and I could use my telekinesis, if only that big, dumb purple creature wasn't holding him down.
"We need to distract the purple thing, so I can pull Mr. Aizawa out of there." I say.
As if on cue, Bakugou and Kirishima jump out from behind some rocks, and rush to attack. They are followed by Todoroki, who must've met up with them when we split up. However, they've given me exactly what I need, as all 3 villains, now joined by the purple warp, rush to attack. This leaves a bloodied Mr. Aizawa lying there, and I waste no time in pulling him towards us with my quirk.
"Can you two bring him back up to the others?" I ask Sue and Mineta.
"Of course, let's go Mineta," says Sue as she picks up his torso, while Mineta picks up his legs. Once they're out of the way, I share a look with Midoriya. A look of readiness, as we both know we need to go help out our classmates. The two of us rush in to help, and I attack the purple creature first with a few energy balls. However, as we're about to attack some more, one of the doors to the USJ blows off its hinges, revealing a recognizable figure.
"All Might," I say, just barely a whisper.
