"WHAT?!" Natsu shouted.

"No way," Wendy commented. "Mr. Natsu dies?"

"This is very disturbing indeed," Erza continued. "I find it very troubling."

"Why the heck am I dead?!"

(Y/N) joined Nadia by the stone and held her shoulders. They spoke quietly, so Fairy Tail couldn't hear what they were saying. Natsu continued to express his displeasure with the situation. Makarov seemed to recover first, and he tried to calm Natsu down and tell him that he shouldn't be so loud.

"This isn't fair! I could totally take down a dragon more than Gray!"

"Hey watch it pyro. Not my fault you died."

Natsu screamed in frustration and started to stomp over to the yard.

"Natsu!" Lucy quietly yelled. "What do you think you're doing? You're gonna get us caught."

"Who cares? I want answers!"

Gray and Gajeel had to hold Natsu back before he blew their cover. They were able to drag him back to the group and Lucy smacked him on the head.

Nadia sat down in front of the stone and continued to have a conversation with it while (Y/N) turned to go back inside. She stood in the middle of the house and just stared at the wall with all of the pictures. She held her hands in tight fists as she held back tears. In the meantime, Natsu had broken free from the hold on him. Fairy Tail tried to stop him, but he marched right over to where Nadia was sitting to take a look at the stone. Nadia looked up to see what the noise was and let out a high-pitched scream when she saw him. She scurried away from him and quickly stood up.

"Mom!"

(Y/N) came running at the sound of the fear in her daughter's voice. She quickly made it back to the yard and took in the scene. Natsu and (Y/N) made eye contact, which caused (Y/N) to blink a few times in confusion as she processed what she was seeing.

"...Natsu?"

"Uhh...yes?" He tested.

"Mom, it's totally dad's ghost!" Nadia said as she seemed to realize who he was. "Isn't that killer?"

"Honey I don't think that--"

"Well there's no other way."

"I came into the future. Duh."

"No way! So it's like the ghost of the past from that book? Cool! Say, do you wear chains too?"

"What the heck are you talking about?" Natsu shouted. "That makes no sense."

Makarov sighed and revealed his presence as well, earning another wave of confusion.

"Master?" (Y/N) tested. "How're you--"

"They're ghosts, mom."

"No child. We're not ghosts."

"Then how are you two here? You both died."

"Gramps dies too?! I don't like this future at all. I wanna go back."

"You see," Makarov spoke, "we came across a stone that contained an inscription. When we spoke it aloud we were projected into the future, which is your present."

"That's so totally cool! Is Auntie Lucy with you? What about Happy? And Uncle Gray and Uncle Gajeel and Auntie Juvia and--"

"Nadia dear, why don't we let them speak."

Nadia quickly shut her mouth and waited impatiently for them to explain. Erza had revealed herself in the meantime and made her way over to the group.
