"Enryūō no Hōkō!"
A massive stream of fire flew past the group and hit one of the dragons head on, causing it to retreat back to the sky.
"Natsu, you idiot!" Gray snapped. "We just said that we were gonna think of a plan, not act blindly."
Natsu immediately snapped back, bickering that he didn't do anything.
"Oh yeah, sure. Who else can use dragon slayer magic then?" The Ice Make wizard continued.
"Raienryū no Hōkō!"
Another rush of flames appeared, this time joined with lightning, and it struck the retreating dragon, causing it to fall from the sky and drop to the ground in great force. Natsu immediately put his hands up in surrender, his hands making a passive-aggressive 'see?' motion.
"What the hell?" Laxus tested. "How are you doing that?"
"Why does everyone think I'm doing anything?! I already said I wasn't."
"So we're back here, eh? Looks just how I remember it."
Everyone's heads whipped around, and their mouths hung open when they saw another version of Natsu. He gave a lopsided smile before turning back to the dragons.
"Oi, you don't belong here. Now shoo," this Natsu commanded.
"Foolish human. No matter how hot your fire is, you'll never be able to melt my armor."
This Natsu, covered by his black cloak and donning long pink hair, just laughed at the dragon.
"Laughter? Your pride will be the death of you."
"Actually," Natsu taunted, "I believe it was my daughter, but that's another conversation."
"Daughter?" Wendy echoed.
"No way," Gray gulped. "That can't be right."
"Yo," the older Natsu light-heartedly greeted, holding his hand up to wave. "I heard you were having some trouble. Figured I'd come save ya."
"How're you here?" Laxus pushed.
"Hm, I dunno," he shrugged. "Perhaps intuition."
"You don't have any intuition," another voice sounded. "All you do is rush into situations."
Everyone turned to the new voice and saw the future Laxus that they had met in their journey.
"It's true," future Lucy agreed. "You really have to think more."
Future Natsu scoffed and turned to them, sassing, "Now is that any way to greet someone who just came back from the dead?"
"Yes," both of them answered.
After quick planning, future Laxus and future Lucy separated, each taking a direction and saying that they would try their best to defeat as many dragons as possible. Future Natsu placed both hands on his hips and turned back to the traveling Fairy Tail group. As he did, more dragons landed near them, seemingly attracted to the larger power source that stuck out from the others.
"Hasn't anyone told you that teaming up against people is wrong?" Future Natsu drawled. "Doesn't seem fair, if you ask me."
"Doesn't matter. You'll be dead soon," the dragon bellowed.
A smirk appeared on the wizard's face, and soon his fist burst into flames. His fiery fist made rough contact with one of the dragon's stomachs, and a loud wail escaped the creature. Fairy Tail looked on in shock, and Natsu laughed loudly.
