They all heard a roar, and (Y/N) quickly pushed them back into the forest.

"Crap," was all she said.

A group of dragons landed just outside the forest, their wings knocked trees over with their force.

"Mom, you can totally take that one."

"That's not the point, Nads."

(Y/N) told everyone to stay put, including giving Nadia a stern lecture to not interfere, and slowly emerged from the treeline.

"Welcome, human. Very puny as always," a gray dragon spoke.

A green dragon continued, "You're too small to be considered a snack."

"I would like you to please let me pass."

"Begging already?" Another green dragon bellowed. "What a treat indeed."

"I'm not begging. I am simply asking to avoid unnecessary battle. Lives will be lost if we fight."

"Well I'm glad you know your place, human."

"I wasn't talking about me."

The dragons scoffed and raised their wings to prepare an attack. (Y/N) took in a deep breath before falling to her knees.

"What the heck is she doing?" Natsu shouted. "You can't sit down when fighting a dragon."

(Y/N) had held her breath before placing her hands firmly on the ground and opening her mouth. A high pitched scream came from her, but it wasn't just a scream. The trees around them started to shake, and some of them broke apart. The ground shook as the screech continued. Fairy Tail quickly covered their ears, feeling their ears pounding from the pain caused by the noise. The dragons started to scream in discomfort, and they were slowly being pushed back by the force of the scream. They writhed in pain before the three of them retreated back to the sky. (Y/N) stopped her spell and stood up again as she watched the dragons leave.

"Super killer, mom. They didn't stand a chance."

"Um, how did you do that?" Mira questioned, thoroughly confused.

"Practice," was all she said.

She waved them all over and they quickly made their way through the plains, keeping an eye out for any danger. Nadia left her mother's side to walk next to Natsu.

"Are you staying? Because everyone would love that! And we could finally train. I have this super cool fire spell that I always wanted to show you."

"Uh, I don't think I'm staying."

Nadia looked down and let out a dejected 'oh' as her gaze fell to watch her feet walk.

"So you have dragon slayer magic too?"

Nadia regained her happy disposition and nodded enthusiastically.

"You totally taught me how to be a dragon slayer just like you and Grampa Igneel. We always went to the training grounds and you showed me all these super cool spells. I couldn't really do a lot back then...but now I can! Mom's been teaching me her magic too. I'm hoping to be able to combine my Roar with her Howl technique that you just saw. Wouldn't that be so cool? I could stun them with the noise and burn them with fire at the same time!"

"Woah, seriously? You gotta show me the spells that you created on your own then. I could learn them and become stronger when I go back."

Nadia's face lit up and she nodded excitedly. (Y/N) smiled to herself as she listened to them talk to each other.
