"This is gonna be so cool!" Nadia excitedly yelled. "We're totally gonna stop the dragons...unless we can't, but we totally can!"

(Y/N) looked uneasy with the collective decision, and, after many failed attempts at trying to convince everyone to stay, she had no choice in the matter, so it seemed. Fairy Tail quickly gathered the materials needed for the magic circle, and set it up around the stone tablets in the middle of the guildhall.

"You all need to promise that you will not let the future events affect anything you do from now on, or you won't be coming."

"Can we hurry please?" Nadia pushed. "I wanna stop the dragons."

"Nads, patience."

They all stood by the circle, and Levy started to recite the enchantment, causing the symbols on the ground to start glowing. The group was engulfed by a bright yellow light, and when they opened their eyes, they were met with rubble everywhere.

"What...is this?" Lucy cautiously questioned.

"To think that our first stop would be this day," (Y/N) muttered before she turned to Nadia and warned, "Stay by me at all times. Got it?"

"Of course! So uh, why is everything all dust? I thought the dragons did that."

"Yeah uh where the heck are we?" Natsu loudly asked.

"We're in Magnolia. I need to ask everyone to not stray from where I deem safe, and please do not interact with anyone, no matter who they are."

"But where are we?" Gray inquired.

"You all," (Y/N) answered as she pointed to the group before off in a far direction, "are over there. And that is precisely where we are going to stay away from."

"Well what about you?"

"No."

(Y/N) guided them around the fire and rubble that engulfed Magnolia, and they were led over to the forest. Her heartbeat picked up, and her chest tightened. Small curses left the (H/C) haired woman's mouth as she realized what was happening.

"Stay here," she firmly demanded.

Before she could get too far, a loud roar was heard.

"Is that a dragon?" Nadia squealed. "I can't wait to fight one. I'm sure I can beat it...unless I can't. But I so can!"

"We're not fighting those dragons, now please stay here."

"But mom," Nadia started as she went to step closer to her mother, "where are you--"

"Stay here!"' (Y/N) bit.

Before she got confirmation, (Y/N) darted off towards the center of the town. She looked up, catching the tail end of Acnologia flying away, and quickly made her way towards the cube. She stood at the edge, watching over the dragons' final goodbyes to the dragon slayers. Her eyes wandered over to the far hill where Natsu stood. It took everything in her to not go over and try to comfort him. There was no doubt that she wanted to, but she knew that she needed to keep interactions between herself and the past very limited. Her (E/C) eyes were trained on the scene, and she too gave her final goodbye before she turned around and returned to the group.

"Was that Acnologia?" Wendy spoke up.

"Yes," was (Y/N)'s short answer. "Now we have to move before something happens."

"Wait," Gajeel grunted. "Why wouldn't we wanna help stop that guy?"

"You mustn't. It isn't time yet."

"This makes no sense," Natsu shouted.

"It's okay, dad," Nadia comforted. "She's always like this. A stick in the mud."

"Nads."

The girl's response was a small snicker followed by her hugging her mother and singing, "Just kidding! You're the best."

(Y/N) rolled her eyes and kissed the top of her daughter's head before pointing towards the forest.

"We'll check into an inn in Tuly. It's not safe here. Besides, you'll all be going your own way in a few days."

"What does that mean, my child?"

(Y/N) stared right into Makarov's eyes before saying the words that shocked everyone.

"Fairy Tail is being disbanded. Today."

"Disbanded? But...why?" Lucy stumbled.

"It's 'cause of that bastard dragon, isn't it?" Gajeel guessed.

"Not entirely. You see, the Lumen Histoire was brought up, and Gramps felt it best to split everyone up so that you wouldn't be threatened by outside forces as they tried to obtain it."

"So we just...break up?" Gray concluded.

"Yes."

"It's the end of Fairy Tail?"

"For now."

"I was always told about this day, but seeing it makes me feel even more nervous," Nadia spoke. "Mom, had dad already--"

"Yes, Nads. So let's keep that to ourselves, yeah?"

"Have I already what?" Natsu asked.

"Nothing. Let's go."

(Y/N) led them over to the far side of the town and they soon stood by the destroyed guildhall.

"Hey mom, do you think we could go explore where everyone went? You all always tell the stories of the year, but I wanted to actually see it."

"When can we leave?" (Y/N) cut off. "It's not safe. Everyone here is dealing with loss today. We mustn't interfere."

She went to turn around when a sharp pain hit her temples. Her knees made rough contact with the ground, and she folded over.

"Uh, are you oka--"

Natsu was cut off by a loud screech followed by a cloud of dust that surrounded the (H/C) haired woman. Everyone took a step back, their ears stinging from her magic-laced screams.

"Ow. What the hell is that?" Laxus hollered.

"That's mom's magic! She uses close range spells most of the time, but she can use her voice as a weapon as well. You saw it with her Howl magic when we fought a dragon, but it's usually there whenever she screams like that. Magic enhances her scream, and it amplifies the vibrations around her to create a screech that can paralyze basically everyone."

"Damn. She's loud."

"This is nothing, dad. You always talked about the day when I was born. You said that her screams caused your ears to bleed and you had a bad headache for a month after. Something about sensitive dragon slayer hearing mixed with the Howl magic."

"Wow. I've never heard of that magic before."

"Uh, guys?" Cana tested. "What the hell is that?"

Eyes snapped back to the screaming woman, and they all took another step back when they saw the black cloud.

"Woah," Nadia gasped. "I've never seen this spell before!"

(Y/N)'s fists dug into the ground, and they could all see that she was starting to bite her arm to stop whatever was happening. She was sweating, and her skin was significantly paler. A few minutes had passed, and silence finally took over her. Her eyes were dilating, and her breathing was heavy, but she forced herself up and turned back towards the cube.

"We're leaving."

"You can't just do that and then brush it off!" Natsu argued. "You're not even gonna tell us about today, about the rubble, or about what the heck just happened to you?!"

"There's no need. Not yet. We're resting for tonight and then we're casting the spell again."

"You're infuriating!"

"Dad, that's not nice."
