"Two years is a long time to wait, isn't it?" Lucy tested.

"Which is why you can understand why I'm anxious to get back."

"Nadia seems like she can be a handful," Mira giggled.

"She seems to have inherited everything from her father," (Y/N) muttered, "including his stubbornness and lack of future vision."

"So where did you two meet anyway?"

(Y/N) grabbed a book from a nearby shelf and opened it, walking away from the group as she read.

"I guess that's a no to that question," Lucy mumbled.

The (H/C) haired woman clapped the book closed and spun on her heel to walk back over to the girls.

"We met under unfortunate circumstances. I was saved."

"From what?"

(Y/N) shook her head as an answer before flipping through the next book.

"Are you in contact with Jellal Fernandes?"

"We can certainly reach out to him," Mira assured. "I'm sure he'd be willing to help you with whatever you need."

"And then I totally kicked him so hard that he crashed into the far wall!" Nadia yelled as she continued to ramble.

"Woah no way," Natsu gasped. "You really did that?"

"Of course! Momma taught me all sorts of close range stuff. I can totally beat people up with these killer moves that I learned."

"Hey fire freak, you're supposed to be helping."

Natsu huffed and stepped away from Nadia to go over to the far table where a huge pile of books sat. Everyone was huddled around the pile as they skimmed through the books.

"Where's (Y/N) anyway? I thought this was all her idea."

"She went off with Levy to get more information," Erza explained. "Now focus."

"Whatcha reading everyone?" Nadia asked as she popped in behind them.

"You should really be helping as well, my child," Makarov stated. "It's very important that we get you back."

"But Gramps, I can't help with that."

"If I have to read all this then you do too!" Natsu protested.

"But I don't know how to read."

Everyone slowly turned to face her and raised their eyebrows at her.

"You can't read?" Laxus tested.

"Yes, she does," (Y/N) spoke as she emerged from the door. "She just doesn't like to."

"But mom," Nadia whined. "I don't wanna."

"You were the one that ran into the gate. You will be the one to figure this out."

Nadia huffed before grabbing a random book off the pile and opening it up.

"Hey mom, don't you have a time spell?"

(Y/N) stopped moving and slowly shut the book she was holding.

"What time spell?" She cautiously asked.

"I heard you and dad talking about some sort of time spell when I was younger. Can't you just use that?"

"I don't have a time spell."
