"So where exactly are we going?" Lucy questioned, turning to future Lucy.
Future Yukino spoke up, "The Eclipse Gate is in the north. We might be able to get it working again, which means you can travel through it to go back to your time."
Everyone filed out of the guildhall and faced the mountains. Future Laxus, as well as future Sting and (Y/N), looked to the skies and studied it carefully before waving the rest of the group forward. A loud roar sounded in the sky, and they all looked up to see a hoard of dragons gliding above them.
"Let's get there quickly," future Sting commented. "A big group like this will surely draw them down."
(Y/N) took the lead and guided them back around the mountain before standing in the plains.
"So, uh, where exactly is the north?" Levy questioned.
Future Gajeel pointed off to the far direction of the plains and explained, "It's the opposite way from Magnolia. By Seven."
Nadia appeared next to Natsu and smiled wide.
"So are you gonna come back at all?"
"Uh, I don't think that--"
"Nadia," future Laxus started, "they're going back to their own time. It's not safe for them to be here. If something happens to them then that person would disappear from the future."
Nadia sighed loudly, but her smile returned quickly.
"So I was thinking that we could do some training before you go, right dad? We could totally try out some new spells I learned! I have this really cool one that--"
"Nads, they can't stay," future Sting pushed.
The white haired girl pouted and caught up to her mom. (Y/N) tapped her daughter on the top of her head before walking ahead of the group.
"What is it?"
"It's him. The Tyrant."
"The...Tyrant?" Lucy nervously echoed. "That doesn't sound good."
"The Tyrant Dragon, Xamryphoa. He wiped out multiple guilds."
Future Yukino explained, "He's the biggest threat, but he came in a later time. He's one dragon's son. He showed up about five years ago."
Future Erza suggested that they move under cover, so future Juvia cast her Water Illusion spell, engulfing everyone in a water bubble that took the form of a dragon.
"How dangerous is this guy anyway?" Natsu asked.
"He's totally a beast," Nadia answered. "We saw him take out the entire land near Bosco. He uses a green laser beam and cuts through everything. Even you had trouble with him, and you're the best dragon slayer there is."
"That's wrong. Sting is the strongest dragon slayer, yes."
"No way Lector. Dad is the best."
"Sting."
"It's dad!"
"Enough," future Laxus grunted.
About two hours later, and fortunately without any incidents, they had arrived in the north. The past Fairy Tail looked at the gate and back towards the future group.
"So this thing works still?" Laxus tested.
Future Yukino stepped near the gate and explained that they might be able to get it working again for a short while, saying that it would be just enough time to get them back. Everyone nodded, and future Lucy joined future Yukino as they took out their golden gate keys. Everything glowed, but it soon disappeared again.
