Katniss pov-
"...getting $1,000 they will get $2,000 and get a 2 week vacation to Hawaii!" Mrs Trinket says and I gasp. "Now let's welcome Katniss and Peeta Mellark!" She says. Me and Peeta get up from our chair and everyone gasp. We walk up the stage hand in hand. "Well...Look at you looking like a real King and Queen." She says and I blush and take my crown. Me and Peeta make our way to the dance floor and start to dance.{just pretend the ppl in the video is Katniss and Peeta} As we are dancing people join in and I stare and Peeta. "Hey, Peet." I say and he nods for me to continue. "Thanks for making this year amazing. You made it so magical and You stood up for me and was there for me 100% of the time. I'm blessed that God put a man like you in my life. I truely love you Peeta Mellark... With all of my Heart." I say and he smiles the biggest smile ever. "Kat, Im blessed to have a girlfriend like you in my life and I'm great full God put you in my life and that I was able to be there for you and I'm great full that you chose me to be the man in your life. You made this year of the best years of my life." He says and I smile just as big.
He kisses me passionately and I kiss him back while we are still dancing. I pull away when I hear clapping, whistles,whoops, and awes. I didn't notice that people are surrounding us.
~After Last Day Party~
"Okay guys just remember Prom is tonight at 8 and don't forget your dates!"Mrs.Trinket says on the intercom. "Ughh I for got about that." I say and Peeta grabs my hand. "It's okay babe it's barely 12, you could rest for 3/4 hours then start getting ready, okay?" He says and I nod. We head home and I change into shorts and a tank top and fall on the bed and drift off to sleep.
