Chapter 49-Good News?
Clove pov-
"YES! I LIKE BEING A VICTOR!" I shout for the tenth time at Cato. Well if you guessed, I'm having a meeting with The Careers and I've been telling them how I like being a Victor but Cato won't listen. Let me take you back to this morning.

*BEEP*BEEP*BEEP*
I hear my alarm go off. Why you may ask. Well I need to get ready and call a meeting with The Careers. I get in the shower and and when I'm done I get dressed in clothes that The Victor Girls bought me; a Paramore shirt with an eye on it, ripped jeans, black sandals, Paramore earrings, and a Paramore iPhone case that I love. Yeah...I LOVE Paramore so much if it wasn't obvious already. I put on eyeshadow grey and black then black eyeliner and mascara. I then put red lipstick on. I put my hair down and leave it the way it is, dang I look good. I look at my phone and see that it is 10:45am. I go on kik and go on The Careers Group Chat.
3rd person pov-
Clove:Hey guys lets meet up at Starbucks today!
Clove sends the message and waits for the others to reply so she sets her phone on her bed and lays down. Her screen lights up and she reads the message.
Cato: Hey babe and sure 4 wut?
Glim:hey girl and yeah 4 wut
Cash:u guys r always asking questions and I'm in!
Thresh:I'm in for some Starbucks
Marvel:I WAS ASLEEP! But sure I'd love too meet up!
Clove laughs at her friends replies and types back.
Clove:It's 4 a meeting so be there at 11:30 sharp! Love ya!
Clove looks at the time and sees that it's already 11 o'clock and decides to walk to Starbucks. She puts her phone down and runs to her closet and grabs a small black and white purse and she puts her wallet in it. She grabs her phone as it lights up and sees her friends have replied.
Marvel:Love ya!
Glim:Lova ya mucho!
Cato:love ya too babe
Thresh:love ya too
Cash:yah love ya too bye!
Clove pov-
I head out the door after saying bye to my mom and start my walk to Starbucks. I pass a group of guys and they all whistle at me and try getting my attention but I ignore them until one of them grabs my arm. I stop and face him and say very rude, "What the hell do you want." He looks taken back but then smirks. "Wow, I love feisty girls." he says and I roll my eyes.
"So, what's your name beautiful?" He asks and I just stare at him and he smirks. I sigh, "Clove." I say as I reach for a gum in my purse. "That's a beautiful name Clove, I'm Javier." He says and puts his hand out and I shake it. "And this is Christopher, Alex, Angel, and Andrew" he says pointing to different dudes in his group. "Well nice to meet you Javier but I gotta go." I say. As I turn to walk away he grabs my wrist and turns me around. "Wait, can I have your numer...maybe we can hang out sometime." he says and smiles I grab a pen from my purse and grab his hand and write my number.
"Thanks." he says and I smile and nod and turn to leave again. But yet again her grabs my wrist and spins me around and takes me By surprise and kisses me. I get lost and kiss back then I remember where I have to be. I pull back and look to the ground, "Sorry...I um...i have to go, bye!" I say and run to Starbucks.
I walk in and get in line. What the hell was that? I ask my self. Did I like that kiss? No, I have Cato...but his lips were so soft....STOP! I say and shake my head. "Mam, are you ok?" Asks the girl at the cash register. "Um, yeah. Can I um have a Chocolate Chip Frape and make it a Venti please" I say and she nods and I pay for the drink and wait for my drink. "...for Clove." says the girl and I grab my drink and say thank you and sit down. I go through my phone and look at the time. 11:28am okay rest of the group should be here i- I start and get interrupted by Glimmer Marvel Thresh and Cashmere. "Hey!" They say and I get up and hug them all. "Where is Ca-"I start but get interrupted by a kiss. I smile into the kiss and kiss him back. "Hey babe." he says and takes my hand and he sits down.
"Wait! Hold the meeting! Let's go get our drink!" Says Glimmer and they get up to get their drinks. Okay, how am I gonna tell them I like being a Victor? Ugh idk what if they don't agree with me, what if I tell them then they kick me out...I can't live with that!
"So is this meeting about how we are gonna backstab The Victors?" Cato asks and I'm about to answer when Cashmere says, "Yeah, I can't wait to see them fall apart." "Yeah just imagine the look on their faces." Thresh says and Glimmer and Marvel nod their head. The start talking about what we should do. I look at my phone and see that it's already 12:13pm. Dang we have been here for a while. "GUYS!" I yell and they shut up, finally. "Lets go somewhere else." I say and they nod their head. "Where tho?" Glimmer says as she stands up. "Lets go to the Lake." I say and they nod their head. We grab out drinks and Cato grabs my free hand with his and i entwined our fingers together and start walking to the lake.
We finally get there and we sit down and they all look at me. "Okay, so the meeting wasn't so we can talk about our plan to backstab The Victors...it was the exact opposite." I say and they all look confused as to what I'm saying. "Clove...what do you mean?"Glimmer says and I sigh. "I've had fun while with The Victors. We have things in common. I like being apart of The Victors." I say while looking at the floor. "You....what?" Ask Cato. "I said I um..I like being a Victor." I say looking at them and they all looked shocked. "This doesn't make sense! YOUR THE ONE WHO PLANNED THIS THING! BECOME THEIR FRIENDS AND BACKSTAB THEM!" Cashmere shouts. "WELL THINGS CHANGE OK! THEY CARE ABOUT US. AND THEY WILLINGLY TOOK US IN AFTER ALL THE HORRIBLE THINGS WE DID. I LIKE BEING A VICTOR BECAUSE THEY BASICALLY PRETEND WE DID NOTHING AND THEY TREAT US THE SAME" I shout back at her and she looks down. "I like being a victor, is that wrong?" I ask on the verge of tears.
Glimmer comes up to me and hugs me. "I'm glad you do cause so do I." she says I look up at her,"really?" I ask and she nods I hug her back and we both sit down. "How?"Cato asks me letting go of my hand. "I just like being a Victor! What more do I have to explain!" I scream in his face. "Clove." Marvel says and I look at him. "If you like being a Victor." he says, oh no please don't say what I think your gonna say. I keep thinking, "Then I'm a Victor as well." he says smiling at me. I run to him and jump in his arms. "Thank you Thank you Thank you!" I say while we hug and he chuckles. "Same." says Thresh and I go hug him as well. "So, I like being a Victor....and they are willing to join what about you guys?" I ask Cashmere and Cato. "I don't know Clove I still don't understand wh-" Cashmere starts but I interrupt her. "THERE ISNT MUCH TO UNDERSTAND! ITS SIMPLE. I LIKE BEING A VICTOR!" I yell at her and she looks taken back. "Well then...i guess I'm in on your side Clove." Cashmere says and I hug her tight. "Cato....babe I'm sorry. I'm growing to like them. I've been feeling this way ever since the party. I'm sorry, but I don't see myself as a Career anymore, because like I've been saying I like being a Victo-" I say but get interrupted by him. "You betrayed me." he say low. "Babe no I didn't I'm sorry that I like being a Victor, but it just happened." I say with tears streaming down my face. "DONT CALL ME THAT! WE ARE DONE! IM DONE! YOU LIKE BEING A VICTOR TH-" he shouts but I scream, "YES! I LIKE BEING A VICTOR!"

He just looks at me. That's all. just stares at me. "We...are...over." Cato says and gets up and leaves the lake. I start crying and the rest of the group comforts me and then my phone lights up with a message.

It says and I reply
To KAT🔥:
Of corse!👏🏼😁
I put my phone in my pocket and look at the group. "Movie night" I say and we walk to Kats house.
