Chapter 57-I Love You
Katniss pov-
A-well..... It's a long story you sure you want to know

K-Obviously Ann, come on just tell me

A-Okay fine well earlier today he said he had a job interview at the beach to be a life guard

K-okay and

A-so he left like at 12 so I cleaned the house are lunch then got ready to go to the beach cause I was really bored. So when I got there he wasn't there, so I started panicking cause what if he is seeing another girl, you know

K-yeah

A-okay well then I started to look for him and he was no where to be found. I started walking back to my car and I got hit in the head with a volleyball *laughs* god that was funny because-

K-Ann your getting off topic

A-sorry so then I get the ball and throw it back to the people who where playing and when I turned around he was there. I smiled and hugged him. We hung out at the beach for hours. At around 7ish he went up to a random guy and asked him if he could take a picture of us and instead of posing like he would he dropped down on one knee and I was super shocked but happy that he finally asked me.

K-aww Ann that's amazing congrats... I'm hoping you said yes right *laughs*

A-of course sweetie I said yes, I can't wait to be Annie Odair, it's gonna be amazing

K-yeah I'm so happy for you and Finnick, I can't wait fo- *Peeta shouts for Katniss* dang it, while Ann I'll talk to you later

A-okay kat bye

K-bye *hangs up*

I walk out of the bedroom and walk into the kitchen "lamb stew and cheese buns" Peeta says and my eyes widen. "Yes!" I shout and run to the table and wait for the food. "Peeta hurry up!" I whine cause he is taking his time to serve him and I and I know it's on purpose because he is moving slower than a turtle for heavens sake.
Finally after what seemed like years he set a bowl of the stew and a plate with cheese buns in front of me and I dig in like there is no tomorrow. "Oh my Peeta this is amazing you haven't made this in a long time." I say devouring the food and Peeta laughs and eats his own serving of food. "Guess what happened today?" I say with my mouth full of food and Peeta laughs. "Finish chewing then tell me love" he says and takes a bite out of a cheese bun. "Finnick proposed to Annie" I say after swallowing my food. "Took him long enough, he was suppose to ask her 4 months ago but he was afraid she would say no." He says and I choke on my food. "Really?" I ask and he shakes his head yes. "Wow" I say and continue eating.

"I can't wait to watching it, they are so adorable!" I say and Peeta agrees. "I find it funny how we can sit down and watch a movie in a different language that we have no idea what they are saying but love it." I say as Peeta and I walk into the movie theater with popcorn and a soda. "Yeah, I love Bob, he is so adorable. He is so small." Peeta says and I agree. "I love Stuart how he plays the guitar and is so sleepy and lazy." I say and Peeta laughs, "Just like you so sleepy and lazy." He says and I playfully slap his arm while he laughs his butt off. "Ladies and Gentlemen the movie is about to start, please turn off you phones and enjoy the movie." an attendant says. Peeta and I turn off you phones and get ready for an amazing movie.(a/n if you can guess what movie I'm talking about I'll give you a shout out on my next chapter, and this movie just came out)

I loved that movie. They are so adorable, and small. "Thanks Peeta for taking me to the movies," I say and kiss his cheek. "Your welcome Princess." Peeta says and kisses my hand and we walk to our car. "So what next?" He asks and I shrug. "I don't know what do you wanna do?" I ask and he shrugs. "We can go to the lake." he suggests and I just nod but inside I feel like my 5 year old self is jumping for joy, I haven't been in the woods for a long time I can't wait!

"PEETA!" I screech when he pushes me into the freezing lake water. I resurface and he is laughing his butt off. "Really!" I shout and this makes him laugh harder. When he is done laughing he shouts Cannonball and jumps in next to me splashing me again. When he comes to the surface I jump on his back startling him. "Katniss! You scared me." Peeta says and I laugh. "Haha that's what you get for-PEETA!" I say as he throws me off his back into the water once again. "Ugh! I'm gonna get you!" I laugh when I resurface and splash him. We end up having a splash battle and at the end of it we were tied. "That was fun." Peeta says and I agree.

"Let's take a trip to the Capitol!" I say out of the blue. "Okay but wanna go by plane?" Peeta asks and I nod my head. "Okay" he says and we go upstairs and pack out things. One hour later we are done and we head to the airport. After 2 hours we are able to board the plane. "I can't wait" I tell Peeta and kiss him short but passionately. "Yeah" Peeta says as the plane takes off.

We made it to the Capitol and it is very beautiful. So many bright colors and so many tall buildings. Peeta and I take a taxi to a hotel and we get a room and put all our things in there and laydown on the soft king sized bed while the sun sets. I have my head on Peetas chest and he has one arm around my waist and the other under his head like a pillow. "Today I had a wonderful day, thanks Peeta." I say and he sits up a bit and kisses my forehead and lays back down. "Anything for my princess." He says and I feel my heart melt. "I love you." I say and get up and look him in his eyes. "I love you too." he says.
