„Newt why are you angry at Minho? It wasn't his fault." He looked at me and answered: „yeah but he could've trained you better. He had to know if you are ready for running into the maze." I sighed,

„Yeah but he came ouuta nowhere. We didn't even realize it." Newt looked at me and asked: „Ok so a few days ago where you slept on my chest, you told me while sleeping that both of you were distracted because of talking about me. What were you exactly talking about?" I hesitated: „He told me that everybody around here noticed that you're in love with me and i told him that i love you as well but we can't be together." he interrupted me, „Why? Why can't we be together when we love each other? The only thing that keeps me alive in this shucking place is you. I wake up every morining knowing that i'll see you, y/n." „Yeah but this is the problem, newt. What if someday i might get hurt and die. You say that i'm the only person who is worth it to wake up every morning but what if i'm dead. What when i'm already dead. You couldn't live without me and me neither. That's why I can't love you or at least I'm trying. Loving someone also means that when something happens to the person it also happens to you. You can't love a person as much as you would miss him, Newt and I can't be the person who would destroy you by getting hurt." he hesitated, „yeah but if something would happen to you by now i would already break togehter and my whole life would be destroyed. It already happened and wheter you or me can make it unhappen. We already love each other. And by the way, wouldn't you be sad as well if something would happen to me right now?" I glazed at him and tears were rolling down my face: „yeah of course i would be sad and my life would be destroyed but that's why i'm trying to let you go. tha's why i'm trying to stop loving you, newt." He smiled a little when i said that i had to stop loving him, „yeah but that's not how it works. You can't stop loving me from that moment on. Your heart decides who you love, not your mind." „Why are you all trying to convince me to love someone in this shuck hole when there is no future for us." he knew i was right , „I know but don't you think that it would be better if we would go through this shit together I mean we would give each other hope to fight to get outta here."
