Newt and me were just sitting there in sillence. But this was normal because there was a lot to deal with. The thought that we would liive there for the rest of our lives scared me. But newt added something important: „If you want to live here, you have to follow 3 simple rules. Those rules were the onliest thing that helt us together in this shucking 3 years. So tthe first rule is that you have to work here. Wheter you work as a cook or as a doc but it's important that every single person around here has to do something. But you are new here that means that you are gonna work everywhere a little bit and then you can look where you fit in the most. The second rule is that you mustn't hurt or harm anyone otherwise you have to spend some days in the hole. And the last and most important rule here is that you are NOT ALLOWED to go into the maze unless you are a trained runner like Minho, Thomas or Ben. Those rules are the only thing to follow." I nodded. „Ok I think it's time to climb down and help to prepare the bonfire. But you'll take some rest until the bonfire because you are the special guest this month you aren't allowed to prepare anything. So I'm gonna take you to your room to make sure your not gonna go anywhere else." I tried to protest and I wanted to say that I could help, doesn't matter wheter I'm the special guest or not but Newt looked at me and said:„No, you don't have to say anything. I'm not going to allow you to help. You have your answers and now you are going to sleep. If you want or not." We climbed down and Newt helped me and handed me my crutch. He walked me to my room and said:"If the bonfire and everything is prepared, I'm gonna pick you up." I nodded and a few minutes later I fell asleep because walking with my twisted ankle was very exhausting.
