Kate stared at the blank wall in front of her. The scientists, or as Kate called them, torturers, were late to testing. The one who brought Kate to the room told her that they would be here soon, but they had a meeting. Luckily for Kate, they forgot to strap her to the table, giving her the ability to wander the room.
There were no windows in the room. The walls and floor were pure white. The roof of the room was a huge dome, meaning it was one of the many that circled the main building. Off to the side was a spot for people to observe, it was a small room with a large glass wall allowing them to see what was going on in the testing chamber.
Kate looked down at the floor. The floor must be scrubbed daily, as Kate could see her reflection in the tiles.
She looked horrible. She was still wearing the dress she was wearing when they caught her, and it had begun to rip in many places. Her hair was messy, it was sticking out all over the place. She was becoming much skinnier, as the people had stopped feeding her as much as they used to. She had become even paler than before, making her look sick. Usually, her skin was a good pale, she didn't look sick. Connor had told her that on Earth, if anyone was that pale, they would be extremely sick, and most likely dying.
Kate looked up from her reflection. She looked at the door on the wall. It too, was completely white. There was four locks. One was a fingerprint scanner, one was a passcode, and the last two were old fashioned lock and key padlocks. It was overkill, the finger scanner would have been enough. She could get passed the padlocks by picking the lock, but the finger scanner and the passcode would be difficult. Kate had little knowledge of human technology. She only knows the different locks because she consistently had watched the humans unlock the door.
Two men walked into the door. One was the heavily muscled man who moved her to the new room, and the other was a tall skinny man who often did the experiments on Kate. The men walked over here.
"We have come because you are being moved. We have decided that we will be stopping testing for a while, you lucky girl." The tall man said. The muscled man walked over to Kate, and once again, hit her in the head knocking her unconscious.
"We have finished our business here, let's go Murashi." The tall man said as Kate lost consciousness and was lifted over the shoulder of the muscled man. The two men then walked out of the room, taking Kate with them.
"Hey, why wasn't she strapped down?" The muscled man, Murashi, said.
