Connor walked towards the building where they took Kate. Just before he reached the main entrance he stopped. Just walking in through the front door might not be the best idea. It's probably got some sort of security on it, and besides, someone will see him if he just walks in without thinking. Then it hit him. This is the moon. Why would they need a security system? Humans never knew of the Lunarians, as by the time that the managed to make it to the moon Kate was the last one left!
Connor walked up to the door and pulled it open. He waited a few seconds to listen for an alarm, and when there was none, walked through the door. He managed to take a few steps into the building before an alarm sounded.
The door slammed shut behind him, trapping him in the building. Chains shot up from the ground and latched onto his arms and legs. Connor took this moment to take in his surroundings. The walls and floor was perfectly white, and seemed to glow a little. The roof was made of glass, giving a perfect view of the stars. It smelled of cleaner, probably used to keep the walls and floor perfectly white.
Connor had gotten lost in his own thoughts about his surroundings that he barely even noticed when two men ran towards him. One of the men tied his hands together with a thick rope, and the other held a gun to his head. The men were no older than Connor and wore a masks over their faces.
"State your business. Why are you here alien? Are you too a native of the moon?" One of the men asked.
"First, I'm not an alien. I'm a human just like you guys. Second, the people who lived on the moon are called Lunarians. Third, I'm here to retrieve-"
"Are you here to bring us to Mars? Did they send you here to retrieve us?" The man said, cutting Connor off. But this was perfect, if they thought he was going to bring them to Mars, they will let him go. And then, he can knock them unconscious or something. Then he can steal their clothes, and blend in.
"Yes. I'm here to take a few select people to Mars with me." Connor lied. He had a plan and he hoped that these two would fall for it.
The man lowered his gun and put it away. One of the men untied Connors hands and the other pressed a button causing the chains to retract. The men motioned for him to come with them. Connor followed until they reached a dark area where people rarely passed through.
On the floor were construction materials, wooden planks, pipes, and other things. They must be in an area that was recently finished, or maybe they just threw all their junk here.
Connor then silently grabbed a metal pipe that was lying on the ground. He lifted it above his head and then swung it down with as much force as he could muster. He hit the man with the gun, knocking him unconscious.
"You're not really here to help us are you?" The man asked. He looked betrayed, yet at the same time, like he wasn't surprised. The man then grabbed another pipe that was lying on the ground. The pipe he picked up was much rustier and therefore more likely to break.
The man then charged at Connor. Connor managed to move out of the way, but at the last moment the man swung the pipe sideways, hitting Connor in the leg. Connor fell to his knees and began swinging the pipe around like a madman. Connor managed to hit the man in the legs, causing him too to fall to the ground. The man swung at Connor's face, but Connor blocked the attack with his own pipe.
"Idiot. I'm trained in combat, you're just some loser who is trying to get himself killed." Connor pushed back on the pipe, causing the pipe to crack. The man then attacked again oblivious to the giant crack that had appeared on his pipe. Connor blocked the attack again and the force of the attack caused the man's pipe to shatter.
"You may be stronger than me, but your weapon is in disrepair. It was rusty, and likely to break." The man stood frozen in fear as he was now defenceless against Connor. Connor hit the man in the head as hard as he could, successfully knocking him unconscious. The man fell to the ground with a thud.
