Connor looked down at his new clothes. He had taken them from the men he knocked unconscious earlier. Unfortunately for him, both of the men were slightly bigger than him, making wearing them difficult.
His new outfit consisted of a turquoise jumpsuit, and black combat boots. He also had a matching turquoise hat to top off the look.
The shoes were one size too big, and the jumpsuit was overly baggy. Connor hoped that no one would notice. Luckily, his hat fit perfectly, although it smelled like sweat.
Connor walked down the hall, more confident now that he had his disguise. As long as he kept his head down, he could pass as just another human. He hoped that the unconscious guards wouldn't wake up anytime soon.
Across the hall, a muscular man was exiting one of the rooms. In his hands was a person, except they weren't wearing the usual turquoise jumpsuit.
They had a silver dress on, and her blonde hair covered her face.
It was Kate. Connor thought about taking her from the man right then, but one look at his muscles, and he brushed the idea off. He was way too strong for Connor to take on himself, and even if he did, Kate might get hurt in the process. It would also make the disguise useless, as everyone would know he was an intruder.
She was unconscious, slung over the shoulder of the muscular man. The man turned towards Connor, and Connor realized he was staring.
"Heh, I guess you've never seen the alien before, eh?" The man said, a smile across his face. "For an alien, she is surprisingly pretty. She also is a pretty good artist. You should she her drawings!"
"Can I see her drawings? I'm curious about what she draws." Connor said, as he actually was curious.
"Sure. Her room is being vacated anyways. Something about being next to the meeting room. If she has super hearing or something, we don't want her too listen in on the meetings."
"That makes sense. Thanks for letting me see her drawings." Connor said, hoping to end the conversation. As much as he wanted Kate to wake up, he had a feeling that she wouldn't for a few hours. If that man hit her, it wouldn't be surprising if she didn't wake up for a week. The man smiled and walked away, Kate still slung over his shoulder.
Connor walked into the room that the man had come out of. It was surprisingly well decorated.
The bed looked comfortable, the carpet was soft, and it was a really nice room. Although the large locks on the door, made the room seem like a prison.
Connor walked over to the desk and looked at the pieces of paper on it. Almost all of the paper had been drawn on, and they were pretty good too. Connor took a closer look at the drawings. They couldn't have been Kate's.
There was drawings of many different things. Cats, buildings, books, you name it, it was drawn. All things from Earth.
Kate had never been to Earth, and yet she could still draw things from Earth with amazing accuracy. It was a mystery about how she could have drawn all this. She had lived her whole life on the moon, but maybe it was all coincidence? She could have just imagined these things, and they just happened to look like things from Earth? Or maybe the people who captured her showed her things from Earth?
Connor decided that it would be best to just ask Kate about it after he gets her out of here. He didn't have time to waste thinking about why Kate drew the things she did. It was probably because she seen pictures when people came to Earth.
