Night Swimming (Bdoc)

Bdubs relaxed in the warmth of the pool. The heater made it perfect for night swimming. He pulled himself onto one of the thin, cheap rafts so water pooled in and cradled his back. The builder gazed at the stars in the sky, until his eyelids grew heavy.

He wasn't sure how long he floated in the pool until the water was disturbed. Slowly opening his eyes again he watched Doc slip into the water as well. Bdubs sat up and slid off the raft. "Fancy seeing you here," he teased.

The hybrid had his robotic right arm resting on the ledge and a grin on his face. "Hope you don't mind me joining you." While he spoke the freckled brunette glided through the water, closing the gap between them. The darker brunette snaked an arm around his bare waist and pulled him in.

"Not at all," he hummed, pressing his hands against his chest and a kiss against his lips. Doc smiled widely as he took his arm off the pool edge and sunk it under the water to hold Bdubs.

Before the shorter realized what was happening, he was thrown in the air and landed with a crash on the other side of the pool. "Doc!" he squawked as he came up for air. When the hybrid swam over the lighter brunette shoved water in his direction.

"Hey!" he laughed, shielding his eyes.

Bdubs giggled, lunging at him and pushing him underwater. He blinked his eyes open and grinned at the hermit beneath him. Doc kissed him before the two broke the surface. "I'm going to drown you," the heterochromatic male jokingly threatened.

"I'd like to see you try," Doc taunted. When freckled arms linked around his neck, he simply stood up straight, pulling the other from the water. "You just got lucky the first time."

"Did I now?" Wrapping legs around his torso, Bdubs pulled himself up so he could look down at his neighbor. He used one hand to hold the nape of the hybrid's neck, fingers lacing between locks of hair. He brought their faces close together and felt a hand travel up his back. This time when he kissed him, he leaned all of his body weight against him, bare chests pressing together.

Sure enough, Doc stumbled backward and he used this opportunity to submerge him under the water again. Taken by surprise, the dark brunette's grip on his boyfriend slipped. "Ha!" Bdubs exclaimed, jumping back.

"I can't believe you right now!" Doc laughed in disbelief as he stood up again. "What did I ever do to you?" he fake pouted.

"Hey you tossed me first!" he teased, taking a nearby tube and pulling himself through it so he could sit on it. The hybrid swam over. Hooking two fingers on the tube he guided it over towards him. Bdubs tilted his head back to look at him and was given a soft forehead kiss.

The tall hermit dipped under the water and stood up under Bdubs, pushing up the tube so he held it over his head. "Wait, wait Doc don't," he protested between breaths of nervous laughter.

"Oh but it's so tempting," he sighed, lightly flipping the inflatable as he tossed it.

The tan brunette scrambled to pull himself free and popped out of the water. Despite huffing, a smile was still sewn on his face. They kept going back and forth until they got tired.

"You're really cute," Doc said with genuine words, moving through the water just to pet his head.

Bdubs hummed as he moved around him and climbed up his back so his arms could dangle freely from the taller's shoulders. "Yeah I know," he finally replied when he turned his head and rested his cheek against the back of his head. The darker brunette touched his freckled legs to make sure he had a good grip before moving through the water and relaxing in the shallow end.

Fingers weaved between dark brunette locks and began to lightly scratch and massage his head. "How much longer do you want to stay in the water?" he softly asked, reaching across his torso to give the shorter brunette's opposite thigh a light squeeze.

"Just a little longer," he murmured into his ear, pressing lazy kisses into his hair and neck. Doc coaxed him to slide off his back and pulled him in front of him. They shifted to be a little deeper in the water so when the taller stretched his legs and leaned against the wall, Bdubs could still be partially submerged in the water while he laid against his chest.

Bdubs focused on the rising and falling of the hybrid and just stared at his own hand in front of him. His eyes fell shut as the hand laying across his back raised into his hair.

He didn't realize he had fallen asleep until he woke up to Doc shifting him up so he could carry him out of the pool. His limbs dangled over the side of the hybrid's shoulders and hips and he slowly turned his head to kiss his neck. A smile formed on his face and when he glanced up he saw it matched the one on his boyfriend's face. Reaching his head up he placed another kiss to his jaw as they made their way to the bathroom on Doc's half of the mansion.
