I know this is technically long enough to be a one-shot, but I'm putting it here because of the low-quality. Also, it was going to be a Zed x Tango, but then I remembered that one Zels I found on Ao3, and was like, 'hey, I like this' also I never mentioned this in my ZIT oneshot, but even though Zed is 5'10, I shrunk him to be shorter than Tango and Impulse (and in this case, Wels) because Tiny Zed. Also, I kinda like this concept, so if enough people would want to read it, then this would be my next book.

Alright enough of me talking let's get to the actual fic :)

Wels leaned against the wall, plastic cup in hand. Raising an eyebrow, he watched his twin brother run around with a freakishly realistic demon mask, scaring other party guests. The drunker they were, the bigger the reaction. Wels himself was fairly buzzed but was confident he could hold his alcohol. His knight costume was a little hot, but he didn't feel like taking off the helmet to reveal messy hair. As the party host made his way over him, the dirty blonde rested his free hand on the hilt of his fake sword.

"Please, do something about your brother," Xisuma sighed, lightly banging his head against the wall.

"Like what? You know he never listens to me and will do the exact opposite out of spite," he pointed out.

"Then what am I supposed to do?" He stood up straight and glanced over his shoulder at the obnoxious boy.

"I don't know, get everyone to ignore him. He'll get bored eventually." Wels shrugged, taking a sip of his drink.

Once X had walked away- most likely to talk to either Grian or his own brother- the knight spotted someone he had never seen before.

A short, blonde male was looking around, and much like the rest of the party, holding a cup. He sported a white, fuzzy cropped sweater and a white skirt that was only a little darker. He wore black ankle boots and on his head was a headband with sheep ears on top. Wels had a sneaking suspicion he had a tail to match, and when the boy turned to watch Hels continue his escapade of terror, his suspicions were confirmed. The curly blonde's head turned to face him, and the two made eye contact, his eyes a muted violet.

Before he had a chance to decide what to do, the boy walked up to him, grinning.

"Nice costume." He leaned on the wall next to Wels, taking a sip of his drink.

"You're pretty cute yourself," Wels smirked. Ah. He glanced in his cup and noticed he had drunk way more than he initially thought. It'll be fine.

"So how do you know X?"

"Met him in highschool and miraculously kept in contact even after college," he explained. "How about you?"

"Friend of a friend. He didn't want to come alone, and since I had nothing else better to do, I figured why not." He shrugged, before tilting his head back to finish his drink. Wels blinked, surprised how the boy didn't look phased at all. A little pink in the cheeks, sure, but that's about it.

"Who dragged you here?" he asked, standing up straight.

"Oh, it was uh-"

"Who's your new cute friend?"

Looking over his shoulder, the man dressed as a knight jumped. His twin brother rested his elbow on his shoulder, his mask still on his face. Definitely creepier up close. Turning back to his new friend, he noticed how he wasn't surprised, probably because he saw Hels approaching.

"Hi Hels," he grumbled, shrugging his arm off of him.

His brother scoffed, pretending to be offended. "One would think my own brother would be happier to talk to me!"
