"HEY!"

You and Travis froze, looking back at whoever yelled at you two.

A girl ran up and started questioning you guys. "Who are you? What are you doing here? Do I need to call the guards?"

You quickly waved your hands. "No, no. Don't call the guards. Because if you do, I'll take you out." Your facial expression turned into a glare.

Travis covered your mouth with his hand and tired to take back your threat. "Haha, such a jokester. We're not going to hurt you."

You grabbed Travis's hand and threw it off your mouth. You looked at him and blew a raspberry then turned back to the girl. "He won't, but I might. That's besides the point though. Who are YOU?"

She was a bit startled by the question, especially when she asked it first, but she had to answer. "I'm Amber, a maid for the King and his castle." (Genshin Impact Amber)

A look of surprise maid its way onto Travis's face. "A maid huh?" He smirked. "That means you can help us."

"Help you? Why would I do that?!" Amber put her hand over her chest with an offended look. "I should be reporting you two to the guards right now."

"But you're not," you mentioned. "And it's probably because you don't like the King."

Amber's face contorted into angry confusion. "I- . . . I wouldn't say that."

You smirked because you were pretty sure you just hit the bullseye. "Oh come on," you pushed. "You can tell us. We don't like the king either."

Amber opened her mouth as if she was going to say something, but then closed it. She had a very concentrated face and thought about it. "Fine. I guess I'll help."

"Thank you," Travis smiled at her and she smiled back.

You gave a disgusted look towards them and side eyed Travis. He noticed your look, but turned back to Amber.

"We need to find a certain prisoner and get to the special guest room."

Amber nodded. "Alright, that guest room is not too far and it's pretty easy to get to." Amber crossed her arms and started tapping her foot. "I'm guessing you're talking about that new prisoner that arrived. The King wanted a special place for her, so she's in the tallest tower cell. I can't personally get there, but I do know someone who can."

"That would be great. Y/n's going to the guest room and I'm going to get Aphmau," Travis stated.

"Okay, I'll see if I can get my friend. I'll be back. Be careful and stay out of sight," Amber waved as she ran away.

Travis smirked and turned toward you. "Jealous?" He whispered in your ear.

You felt heat flash on you face and you quickly looked away. "No. Not at all. Why would I be jealous?"

"You didn't look too happy when I was talking to Amber," he noted slyly.

You scoffed trying to hide your lie. "I was just annoyed you were doing all the talking."

"Uh huh," Travis teased as he poked your cheek.

You gently swatted his hand away and turned so your back faced him. You suddenly felt arms around your waist and you got pulled back.

You looked slightly up behind you and saw Travis smirking.

"What are you doing?" You asked crossing your arms.

He leaned down to you. "Trying to make you flustered and fall in love with me."

You scoffed. "We only met a couple weeks ago." Then you leaned up to him and whispered into his ear. "But who says I haven't already?"

He blushed, not expecting your answer and you left his arms.

"I'm off to the guest room so if you need me, I'll be there," you told a flustered Travis as you walked off.

You made your way to the guest room you stayed in last time, being very alert the entire time.

You finally made it to the room and tried to open the door. The door slowly creaked open and you poked your head in.

Thankfully, no one was there waiting for you. You walked in and closed the door behind you.

This seems too easy though. He knew we were coming back. Why'd he let me get to this room?

You made your way to the puzzle bookshelf and took out a note you made about the code.

I'm not even close to knowing how I got this code, but I hope it's right.

You pulled on the books in the order you decided and waited.

Nothing happened. You sat down at the desk that was in there. "I guess I got it wro-"

You got cut off by a very loud creaking. You quickly stood up and made your way over to the bookshelf.

It had opened up and there was a hallway behind it.
