~Next Morning~

~Y/n's POV~

I woke up the next morning with my face planted into Lucinda's spell book.

Oh, I must have fallen asleep reading about the history of witches. It's pretty boring, also why is that in a spell book?

So you're calling yourself boring.

I thought you were coming next week.

Oh Honey, I'll be here all week just until The Calling is over.

I stayed silent. I HAVE TO TELL LUCINDA!

I ran out of my room to Lucinda's and pounded on her door. She opened the door rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.

"What is it?" Lucinda asked groggily.

"You remember The Calling right?" I questioned.

"Yeah, what about it?"

"Well yesterday 'She' came back and said The Calling is next week."

Lucinda's eyes widened. "What do we do?" Lucinda panicked. "Doesn't The Calling last for a whole week?"

I shook my head, "It only lasts for five days. I'll just tell everyone I need to go on trip."

"But you just got here. Wouldn't they be suspicious?" Lucinda argued.

"Well work is work. They can't argue with that."

"Do you have a fake place your going?"

"Yup, I'm going on a trip to Seattle for a meeting."

"What for?"

"It's a witch meeting," I said.

"Wouldn't that mean I need to go too?"

"The meeting is for beginners."

Lucinda nodded. "I forgot, I got a text like two minutes ago and it's inviting us to go to the mall with everyone. Do you want to go?" Lucinda asked looking a her phone.

"Sure, I'll get ready." I walked back to my room and changed.

I jumped down the stairs and saw Lucinda staring at her phone.

"You ready?" She asked.

"Yup. Let's go!" I shouted.

~At The Mall~

We walked into the mall and saw everyone in front of the arcade.

"Hi guys!" I waved enthusiastically.

"Oh! Hey Y/n and Lucinda. Glad you guys could make it," Aphmau smiled.

"I bet Travis is even more glad that Y/n could make it," Katelyn snickered.

"Katelyn!" Travis complained.

"Why are you whining? It's not like you don't hit on every girl you see," Katelyn retorted.

"But Y/n's different," Travis whispered.

"Um guys, you know I'm standing right here?" I asked.

"Oh I know," Katelyn smirked.

There was an awkward silence after that. Then Lucinda interrupted, "Are we going to shop or not?"

"Oh! That right. Do you guys want to split up?" Aphmau asked. "We could go in pairs or groups."

"Let's go in pairs," Kawaii~Chan smiled.

"Who's going with who?" I asked.

"I'm going with Aph," Aaron said grabbing Aphmau's hand while she blushed.

"I'll go with Zane~Kun," Kawaii~Chan said hugging Zane. Zane just blushed a little bit, probably because he's not used to physical contact.

"Laurance, you wanna go together?" Lucinda asked him. I gave Lucinda a 'Do you like him?' face. She glared back at me.

"Sure, I don't see why not," Laurance replied happily.

Dante paired up with a girl with red hair and gray eyes. I think her name was Nicole? Katelyn went with Garroth because . . . I actually don't know why. I think Katelyn just didn't want to be paired up with Travis.

That leaves me with . . .

"I guess we're going together," Travis said.

"I guess so," I said looking at his emerald green eyes. "Anyway where do you want to go?"

"What about the arcade? Since we're already here," Travis suggested.

"Sure!"

We walked inside of the arcade and I was immediately drawn to a plushie in a claw machine. I quickly walked over to the machine and stared at it. Travis followed.

"LOOK! It's (a) (wanted plushie)!" I squealed quietly.

"Do you want it?" Travis asked me.

I stared into his eyes, "Yes."

My voice was filled with determination.

~Travis's POV~

I couldn't say no. The way she looked at the plushie with a passion for it. The way she looked at me when she said 'yes' to wanting it. I couldn't back out now, I had to get it for her.

I took out my wallet and inserted a few quarters. I watched the claw move and I looked at both sides to see if it matched up. When I thought it looked lined up I hit the button when the timer was at five seconds. I was so nervous I was going to mess this up, I just want to make her happy.

Ugh! This is so sappy. Stop worrying.

Why are you back? The Calling is not until next week.

I'll talk to you after you get home.

I saw the claw grab the plushie and slowly bring it up until it dropped it in the hole. I opened the slot, grabbed the plushie, and happily held it out to Y/n.

"You got it!" She shouted and grabbed the (wanted plushie). Y/n jumped up and hugged me. I was in shock but I quickly hugged her back.

She released from the hug. "Thank you, you don't know how much I wanted this. I looked online for it but it was either sold out or too expensive," she explained.

~After The Mall~

I was back at my house and I went straight into my room.

Now that your back, I can give you some information.

What information?

You know, about The Calling, your demon side, and I don't know . . . your love life.

What do you know about my love life?

More than you do. I know who you're love interest is going to be.

Yeah? Then who?

Let's not get to hasty. I'm not allowed to tell you but I will tell you one thing . . .

You are going to meet her at The Calling.

Does that mean she's a demon too?

No response.

That's annoying. Fine don't answer, I'll find out myself.
