It had opened up and there was a hallway behind it.
You kept your distance from the bookshelf for a small amount of time, just in case something was going to try to kill you.
After you waited, you peeked your head into the hallway. It was dark, so the hallway looked very long.
You pulled your phone out and shined your flashlight down it. It wasn't a long hallway like you thought and you could see the end. There was a door.
You carefully stepped into the hallway and pulled the bookshelf closed until there was a small gap so you could get out. You walked down the hallway looking for traps, but luckily found none.
You got to the door and quietly tried to open it. It opened very easily. You peeked to see what was behind the door, and there was a chair and a table with something on it.
You heard no sign of anyone, so you pushed the door open all the way and walked into the room.
The room was small and only had what you saw in it earlier. You gently closed the door behind you.
The table had a computer on it with chair scooted under the table. You checked around the computer to make sure there were no traps.
"Should I try using this computer? It's kind of old," you asked yourself quietly. You decided on trying it since it was the only thing here.
It turned on and a menu popped up on the screen, specifically a Minecraft menu.
"What in the world?"
You got into the world selection and there was only one world. It was called 'Cows'.
Realization hit you. The translation wasn't trying to say 'secrets', it was actually saying 'cows' like you originally thought you mistranslated.
You quickly clicked on the world and the computer started shaking a bit.
Well it is kinda ol-
You were cut off by a weird feeling all over your body. The computer started shaking more and there was a flash. You closed your eyes to protect them.
You kept them closed until you heard something weird. You heard wind, you also felt it. You slowly opened your eyes and gasped. You were in a meadow and everything was blocky.
You were in Minecraft. This is weird, a magic computer. It makes sense, but at the same time doesn't.
"I should get going. I need to move fast," you muttered to yourself.
You looked around and saw something in the distance. It looked like a building. You quickly made your way to it. The closer you got, the more you could make out what it was, and it was a barn.
You got to the barn door and heard noises. You put your ear on the door to hear better and you heard mooing?
You slightly cracked open the door and low and behold, there were cows. This must be what I needed to find. You cracked the door open bigger and slipped into the barn.
Once you slipped in you noticed all the cows' eyes made their way to you.
"Hello cows," you greeted them. "Wait, why am I talking to cows?"
"Because we can understand you."
You flinched at hearing a human female voice in the barn.
"You must need something if you're here. What is it?" one of the cows asked gently.
You turned to her. "I do need something, but I'm not sure what it is."
The cow nodded, "How did you get here?"
"Well there was this book that I found on a shelf outside of this place and I translated it." You continued on with your story and explained everything.
"Ah, so you need the answer to all questions . . . or most questions. The translation is kind of misleading. Anyway, I can give you what you need, but I need a little favor from you."
"What do you need me to do?"
"Could you please grab the wheat from upstairs? It's been forever since any of us have last eaten." Other cows agreed with her statement.
"Sure." You quickly went up the ladder and grabbed a couple bales of wheat. It was much easier to carry all of these things in Minecraft form. You got back down and fed all the cows.
"Thank you so much. Please grab something to write with. I am going to give you a code and this will help explain everything."
You looked around for something to write on and found a book and quill. You ripped a page out and wrote down the 19 digits that the cow told you.
"Thank you," you thanked the cows. "Now, how do I get out of here?"
"Oh, just take the exit over there." The cow motioned her head to the back of the barn.
You nodded and thanked all of them again and headed out. You made it to the back and there was a door with an exit sign over it. How convenient.
You walked through the door and a bright light flashed. When the light faded, you were back in the room sitting in front of the computer.
You checked your pocket for the paper you put in there. It was fine.
"Now where does this go?"
You started looking around the room again, there wasn't much. But then you decided to look under the table. There was a box with a big lock on it.
You pulled the box out from under the table and it was a 19 digit lock. What the- I didn't even know they made locks this big.
You started entering in the code the cows gave you. Once you got to the last digit, the lock popped open. You gently opened the box and prepared for whatever could be in there. You opened it fully and there was another book, it was quite dusty. What's with all the books?
You pulled the book out and wiped the dust off of it. You examined the exterior of the book more. You stood up and dusted your knees off.
"Hello m'lady," a voice said from behind you.
You quickly turned and hit whoever spoke, in the face with the book. As you smacked them in the face, you saw white hair then realized who it was.
Travis fell to the ground. "I guess I deserve that for sneaking up on you," he groaned as he rubbed his face.
"Oh, sorry about that," You apologized putting your hand out for Travis to grab. He grabbed it and you pulled him up. "Wait, what was with the nickname?"
"M'lady? Oh, I don't really know. I thought it fit," he sheepishly rubbed the back of his next.
"I think that would be for other Y/n rather than me."
You sat down at the table and put the book down.
"What's that?" Travis asked standing next to you grabbing onto the back of the chair.
"That's what we're about to find out," you said opening the book.
