Cassy let herself collapse into the chair nearby her desk. Technically, she hadn't done much activity that day, yet her limbs felt like an odd mix of jelly and stone.

Every fight that she was giving against the supernatural world was beginning to feel pointless. Why not just let the so called 'bad guys' take over Mystic Falls since they seemed to want it so badly. It's not like the pitiful town has done any good for Cassy since she had arrived at the age of 14.

She let out a deep sigh, placing her head in her hands. Cassy tried to let the sound of her deep breaths calm her as her fingers lightly tugged at her hair in frustration.

A soft tap on her door made her glance up lazily. The person didn't wait for a reply before they opened the door.

"Looks like you're still alive," Cassy mumbled her eyes scanning Stefan. He appeared to be back to normal. Elena must have given some great speech about life and its importance.

"Thank you."

Cassy paused, before sitting up straight. A few strands of raven hair fell into her face, and she quickly brushed them aside. A strange sight to see for the girl that always seemed to be put together.

"Thank you?" She questioned, her head tilting slightly.

"Thank you for taking care for me even when I wasn't responsive back. I know it wasn't easy," he spoke solemnly, guilt prominent in his features.

"You definitely didn't make it so," She quipped back. Her arms crossed over her chest, yet a small smirk played on her lips.

"Thank you again. Not even just for helping me this time. With all of the other times you have helped and saved me," Stefan said again.

Cassy blinked a few times, before letting herself smile. It quickly disappeared again, but Stefan saw it before it left. In his books, that was a win.

Cassy seated herself on the desk in a mostly empty classroom. Alaric had dragged herself, Elena and Stefan there and they were just waiting on Damon's arrival.

Isobel has been sighted. Which apparently was not what they wanted despite Cassy clearly remembering going out to find her the previous day.

She wanted to see her daughter, in the Mystic Grill, and that was all the information that Alaric had gotten.

"Damon, thanks for coming."

Cassy glanced over as Damon entered the classroom.

"Sorry I'm late. My dog ate my uh... Never mind." He smirked before scanning the four people in front of him.
