Her courage was a crown and she wore it like a Queen

Surprise surprise, Elena was missing. This time, she was kidnapped. By the vampire that has been their main problem for the past week or so: Anna. Apparently, the Salvatore brothers knew her back in their human days and her mother was one of the 27 vampires stuck in the tomb. It was safe to say that Anna and Damon had a common goal.

It seemed as if Stefan had forgot that Cassiopeia wasn't a vampire. She didn't have enhanced endurance nor could she go days without eating or sleeping. Yes, she was a witch. But she was more human than a vampire was.

So instead of eating and sleeping - like a normal human - her night was spent running the streets to find Elena. Cassy could only feel her new blisters rubbing against her shoes.

It was only once Cassy could fully see the sun in the sky that they finally stopped. They turned to plan B: Damon.

It was a stupid idea, especially considering what had occurred the night before. This became more apparent by the disgust and annoyance that pulled at his face. Fortunately, Stefan was frustratingly persistent.

"It's Elena, Damon. If you know something, tell me."

Damon stood up calmly - not bothered in the slightest - looked Stefan right in the eye and spoke.

"I mean this sincerely. I hope Elena dies."

Without another word, he left in a dramatic vampire fashion.

The duo stared after him, the silence feeding off of Stefan's sorrows.

Throughout the night, Stefan had asked her countless of times if she could do some sort of variation of a tracking spell. Each time she told him, no. There probably was something she could have used but there were thousands of spells out in the wizarding world and Cassy was tired.

For some reason, it didn't register in her mind that there was a type of witch that could do tracking spells very well: the servants of nature themselves. Only when she was dragging her feet with an extremely sad Stefan beside her that the thought hit her.

"I may have a plan C."

Cassy pulled on a jacket, wanting to be more prepared this time. She'd rather not go through freezing temperatures with a thin short-sleeved top again. It was leather, which was just another reminder of her brothers.

She made her way downstairs to meet with Stefan, both of them ready to have a date with a witch. When she made it to the bottom of the stairs, Stefan's phone rang. Once seeing who was calling him, he wasted no time in picking up. It was this alone that told Cassy that the caller was Elena Gilbert herself.
