Thinking is difficult, that's why most people judge.

Cassiopeia could feel her eyes drooping every few seconds. To try make herself look more awake to others, a pair of sunglasses rested on her face. Simple ones, nothing too fancy. They did the trick, but they did nothing to battle her sleep deprivation.

On top of her being sleep deprived, Cassy wanted to curl up on the floor from the pain that flowed through her body. Cassy would never admit it to anyone (especially Damon)but she felt some sort of gratitude that she was healed with vampire blood.

She would never want to drink it again, but it was a lot faster than her potions. If it weren't for the fact that if she died with the blood in her veins, she will become a fanged beast, then she would have it as her permanent solution. She would drink it every morning because it did wonders.

It still left her body feeling some of the aftermath, but it was better than cleaning the wounds each day and applying a magical paste that Cassy felt like ripped off her money since it seemed to have the same affect of the muggle equivalent.

But, she pulled herself together (after a lot of complaining) and made herself look decent whilst getting into the car to go to school. Cassy still felt mildly salty towards Stefan, so the car ride was spent in silence.

Through her shaded vision, Cassy spotted the Elena Gilbert herself making her way towards her. Turns out, she was right all along and Elena was perfectly fine and had a little trip with Damon down to Georgia. She hadn't even received a thank you from Stefan (or Damon for that matter) for helping him on his chase.

"You gave Caroline a necklace?" No greeting was exchanged, Elena wasting no time in getting to the point.

The witch furrowed her eyebrows, before remembering that she gave Caroline a vervain necklace a few weeks ago after finding out that Damon was compelling her. Only for Caroline to never wear it, and Damon continued to use her.

"I did, yes," she answered and returned her gaze to the students at Mystic Falls. The cold wind nipped at her skin, but she didn't mind. It grounded her and reminded her that this whole place was real and not some distorted reality that she created in her mind.

"Why?" Elena questioned.

"It was a vervain necklace, I gave it to her after finding out what Damon was doing," she paused, making eye contact with the Gilbert once more "How did you know?"

"She was wearing it today."

Cassy raised her eyebrows in surprise. It was easy to assume that the blond had forgotten it, or had been so weirded out that a person who spent their free time glaring at people had given her a gift for free. It wasn't a cheap necklace either, furthering the suspicious nature of the gesture.
