 Chapter Forty Six.

Adrienne's Point Of View:

After making my father seriously promise that he'd try and bring my mother back, I left him in the car park. I drove to the nearest pizza joint and bought Jacob's favourite topping and five other random ones. I drove past a busy club that had a lorry parked up outside of it, I realized they were shipping bottles of wine into the bar. I bit my lip in anticipation, I've been through a lot so a drink would be the perfect thing to get me though...I shook myself out of it. 'No Adrienne...This is a new life, don't ruin it'. Oh what the hell...I pulled over and hid behind my truck, I waited until the guy went inside with a box of wine to crept onto the back of the lorry, I lifted up one box and ran back to my truck. I carefully put the box on the back seat before slamming down on the gas.

'C'mon Betsy, don't let me down' I muttered, I drove as fast as I could to the nearest car park so I could at least get one sip to see if it was worth it. I continued to drive up to the reservation so I wouldn't get interrupted by any of the vampires. I reached over to the backseat and took out a bottle, I twisted the lip open and gulped down about half of it. I hiccuped and grinned like an idiot. I started to drive again but I couldn't stay on the road.

I grumbled some wear words and switched off the engine before hopping out the truck, taking the box of wine with me. I staggered back down the street humming something or anything that came into my mine. ''Cause you ain't woman enough to take my man...' I sung, turning up some random pathway that led to a familiar house.

I rang the doorbell and hid in one of the bushes. Someone stepped out onto the landing, Emmett I think it was. He looked around, I kept as quiet as possible, I had a feeling he knew I was there but he was enjoying this. When he went inside I hurried down the pathway and went to Bella's house, this is going to be entertaining.

Bella's Point Of View:

I dropped the garbage bag in the trash can and headed back inside, I saw a hooded figure stagger up my porch steps with a wine bottle in their hand. I charged towards them and put my hand on their shoulder. The person quickly turned around, Adrienne.

'Adrienne...what are you doing here?' I asked, I thought she was kidnapped and taken to her Fire Nation island.

'Well...I'm going to knock on your door and run away' Adrienne explained, hiccuping at the end. 'So go inside, close the door-I'm going to ring the bell and run away, and you have to look really pissed off when you come out...it's funnier that way'

I arched my eyebrow and went up the steps. 'Go home, Adrienne-you're drunk' I sighed and closed my door, leaving her on the porch giggling and hiccuping to herself. I shouldn't have left her out there, I should offer to take her home-I would but my truck has officially given up on me, for good. I tried it this morning and it wouldn't even rattle, I guess it's a sign that it is time to move on.

The doorbell rang. 'Bells, get that will you?' Charlie called from the living room. I sighed inwardly and opened the door, Adrienne ran and tripped down the stairs. She ended up tumbling down the steps and she was lying on the ground, laughing her head off. The wine bottle that was in her hand had now poured it's contents all over her shirt.
