Bree’s Point Of View:

I’d been sitting in the same spot next to Jasper for ages now, we went out so that I can hunt, hunting animals is way different from hunting humans, and animals have quicker reflexes and are harder to catch. Whenever I’m with Jasper, I feel awkward, then suddenly I feel calm again. I was afraid if I moved, that I’d get attacked by Jasper, I drummed my fingers on my lap, I instantly felt Jasper’s eyes on me, I did it again and Jasper shifted a bit before standing up when Alice strolled into the room. Alice was the nicest one-apart from Esme and Carlisle-After Bella had left, I listened to hear if she and Edward would talk about me, but they didn’t.

Emmett walked in and sat on the other end of the sofa and switched on the television, followed by Rosalie. I kept my eyes fixed on the television and tried not to stare at them so that they wouldn’t think I’m gonna eat them or something. I focused more on listening that seeing. When is Adrienne coming to visit? I wondered, maybe she got held up or something.

I heard the sound of tires screeching outside, and the sound of muffled screams. I closed my eyes. ‘Hey…Vampires don’t sleep’ Emmett’s voice snapped before he snickered. I rolled my eyes and ignored him, focusing more on the screams. ‘Help! Bree! Help me!-I’m being kidnapped!! Help me!-Someone, anyone-that includes you Edward!!-Someone help me!!!’ It was Adrienne’s voice, I sprung up out of the sofa and Emmett moved at vampire speed and pushed me back down in the seat.

‘I don’t think so, young lady’ Emmett growled, pinning me down and calling Jasper…oh here we go.

‘You’ve just been fed!’ Jasper boomed. ‘What could you possibly want this time?’

‘Adrienne’s in trouble…Can’t you hear her?’ I shrieked, standing again and giving them a pleading look by this time, Esme, Carlisle, Edward and Alice had entered the room to see what the commotion was all about.

‘Bree, you’re a new born-our hearing isn’t as efficient at yours…’ Carlisle explained. ‘We’re not saying we don’t believe you though’ Esme added with a reassuring smile. I nodded slowly. I sat down again. ‘So, are you just going to stand there?-Adrienne’s in danger!’ I shouted, standing up again.

I realized they were all counting down under their breathes, when they got to zero and loud banging sound vibrated the house, someone was at the door and they were determined to get in. ‘Hey!-Leeches, I know you’re in there-Edward I can see your big ass head!’ An unfamiliar voice boomed from outside.

I took a peep at Edward’s head to see if the theory about his head was right…it was indeed. Edward disappeared and returned with a familiar boy following closely behind him, the one who got attacked by the new born, I don’t remember his name but I remember his face as it twisted in agony-He and Adrienne have some kind of bond, I realized that when she was teary eyed after his friends took him away.

‘What’s the problem, Jacob?’ Edward asked, Can’t Edward read minds, he should know what Jacob’s problem is-despite the fact that he’s letting the remark about the size of his head shape slide.

‘Some people have got Adrienne, We-I need your help…that way we’re even’ Jacob panted, he must’ve done a lot of running.

‘I told you!’ I shrieked standing up only to be pushed back down by Jasper. ‘But none of you would listen to me!’ I looked at Jacob. ‘We could’ve done something to prevent it but they wouldn’t do anything about it!’
