The alarm echoed triumphantly in my room that morning, I felt jet lagged because I didn't' really get much sleep on the plane because of the kind behind me continuously kicking the seat, I don't think he got any sleep either. I groaned and rolled over in my bed thinking there was more room, instead I ended up tumbling onto the floor.

'Ow!' I groaned, rubbing my elbow. I sat up and made my way into the bathroom, I stumbled into the bath and allowed the water to run through my roots and onto my back...it felt so nice and warm, I could stay in here all day.

'Adrienne Sophie Leigh Carter, you better get your butt out of that shower!' Mom's voice boomed from the other side of the door, her American accent strong. Sometimes I felt like the odd one out whenever mom spoke to me because it made me think that my Dad could be an American too.

I hurried out the shower, wrapping the towel around my bare body. I opened the door to see Mum with her bed head look; I giggled and stepped past her heading towards my room.

I creamed my skin with my strawberry scented lotion that I can only get from ENGLAND! And put on my blue Elizabeth and James Cohen cotton buttoned-back shirt, dark skinny jeans, my Chanel flats, I eyed the outfit and nodded to myself, I put them on, adding a white vest underneath. I put on the ring that my grandmother gave to me as a leaving present on my right index finger.

I smiled at my reflection but the smile dropped when I heard light pitter-patter sounds, I peeked out my window and groaned...It's raining! I bet the sun's still shining in England!-Grr...I pulled on my raincoat and grabbed my school back and stormed down the stairs, like before making sure every time my foot hit the step It made a loud banging sound and if it didn't I'd go back and stamp my foot extra hard.

'One day, you're gonna end up doing some real damage to those stairs' A familiar deep voice startled me, causing me to miss a step and fall flat on my face...well I would have if Jacob hadn't caught me and set me on my feet.

'You saw that...huh' I muttered, fixing my clothes.

'Yeah...' Jacob muttered back.

'What are you doing here?' I asked. 'My room is finished, thank you very much!' I added a bitter tone to the thank you part.

'Well, I'm here to paint the kitchen and connect the cooker up' Jacob replied, looking around the house.

'Oh...Well, I'm off to school' I said, heading towards the door. I could hear Jacob laughing, the annoying sound that made me feel irritated.

'You're not going to Fork's high in those shoes, are you?' Jacob chuckled, crossing his arms across his chest, I nodded slowly without these shoes my outfit would be incomplete.

'Wow...This is a very muddy place and those...Chanel shoes aren't going to last long, well, not in this weather' Jacob explained. 'And it's always raining here'

I frowned and marched up the stairs again, switched my flats for my black converses. 'Happy now?' I snapped when reached back the stairs again.

'Over the moon' Jacob smiled sarcastically. I rolled my eyes and made my way to the door.

'Do you even know the way?' Jacob asked...why the heck does he keep on stopping me?

'No...I don't, D'you mind taking some time out of your so called busy life and showing me the way?' I asked, I didn't want to sound too nice to him, even though he was being nice to me.

'Yeah, let me check my schedule' Jacob replied smugly, he was going to say something but he was interrupted buy a mobile ringtone. Jacob took it out his pocket, looked at the screen, his jaws clenched and lines appeared on his forehead, he muttered something under his breathe before putting it back in his pocket.
