Chapter Fourteen

Chapter Fifteen:

We woke up late in the afternoon on Sunday because we were up all night watching movies and talking about my gifts, they bought me some CD's, make up, clothes and shoes, don't you just love having best friends?

'Early rise, late sleepers!' Lauren sung, jumping on my bed. Sorcha and I groaned and rolled over, I fell off the bed and Lauren and Sorcha both started to laugh.

We brushed out teeth and got changed into house clothes, today we're going to play with fire...literally, Callum's probably fast asleep, Jacob's gone home, said he had some wolf duties and that we should come over later.

Lauren, Sorcha and Abigail helped me master Water, Air, and Earth seem as Abigail's not here we're going to have to make do with just the three of us, In order for me to be the Avatar with the cool arrow thing on my forehead, I'm gonna have to master all the elements, I've read some stuff on the Internet that said females would get a cool tattoo on their back of a symbol that means 'Master Of The Elements'.

'You got the buckets?' I asked Lauren, she nodded. 'Double check' I looked over to Sorcha, and asked. 'You got the Hose ready?' Sorcha nodded. 'Ready and waiting'  

I breathed in and out, I raised my hand-it was a bit windy outside today so I might be harder to control the fire-I flicked my wrist forward and the fire rose up out of nowhere, I heard gasps of admiration come from Lauren and Abigail.

'Make it dance, Adie!' Lauren cheered. Sorcha joined in too. 'Yeah Adie, make it dance!' I smiled, and curved my hand, the fire began to mirror my hand...I'm doing it!! I pointed out one of my fingers and made circles with it...Cool and then bubbles of fire.

'Now I have to make it go away, the hard part' I muttered. I closed my hand into a ball and straightened my other hand and did a quick motion to the left and the fire disappeared.

I turned around to face my friends. 'Woooo!' Sorcha and Lauren cheered, jumping around in circles with me. 'I did it!' I smiled. 'We did it!'

A clapping sound could be heard from the back door, I looked up to see the last person I expected to be there watching, Jacob....shit!

'Did you see that Jacob?-Adie aced all four elements now' Sorcha grinned, running to high five Jacob but he didn't high five her.

'He doesn't know does he?' Lauren whispered, I shook my head and walked over to Jacob.

'What was that, Adrienne?' Jacob demanded in a hiss. 'What are you?'

'I'm...I'm an Air bender' I replied. 'I can control water, fire, earth and the air that you breathe'

'Are, are you a vampire?' Jacob asked in a whisper. If I could laugh I would have, but vampires aren't real.

'No Jacob, I'm human, just like you blood in my veins, beating heart, eat normal food, can't run at an abnormal speed but I'm a good athlete' I smiled.

'Oh...uh, so what were you doing?' Jacob asked, pointing at the buckets and the hose.

'Practicing fire and I aced it!' I shrieked, pulling him into a hug. Jacob had a certain smell, that I liked, not the petroleum smell, the animal woodland kind of smell.

'Well done!' Jacob exclaimed, finally high fiving Sorcha.

Jacob's Point Of View:

'Thanks' Adrienne beamed, looking up at me.

'Uh...are you guys ready to go, I want you to meet some people' I said, looking over at Lauren and Sorcha.

'Um, Okay, let's go get ready' Lauren grabbed, Adrienne's hand and ran up the stairs but Sorcha just stood there analyzing me.

'Is something wrong, Sorcha?' I asked.

'It's all wrong' Sorcha muttered.

'What D'you mean?' I asked, please no flirty comment...no flirty comment, this girl's freaking me out.

'Your posture, it's not feminine enough, you stand like a guy...a straight guy you're supposed to stand with your hands on your hips or something' Sorcha said, unfolding my hands and placing on of them on my hip.

'I hate to break it to you, but I'm not gay' I blurted out, I can't act gay...it's just wrong.

'Oh-Em-Bloody-Gee' Sorcha shrieked. 'Adrienne only wants you for herself, Well, I'll tell you what Jacob, she can't have you...nope...one day, I'm going to bake cookies on your stomach because you're so bloody piping hot!' Sorcha exclaimed. (A/N: My Fav Character!!)

'Are you glad you got that out?' I asked after watching Sorcha mutter something to herself.

'Yeah...I feel so much better' Sorcha sighed, before going inside and up the stairs...Okay.

After waiting like an hour for the girls to get ready, they came down stairs. Adrienne was wearing what she normally wears, plaid shirt, jeans, and a pair of pumps. This time she had her hair tied up.

'Okay...let's go!' I said, my butt was beginning to cramp me from sitting down for too long.

'Okay!' Lauren cheered, some body's energetic.

We all bundled into the truck, Betsy of course. Adrienne drove us to Sam's house and parked up next to my truck, which obviously means that Billy's here too. The pack rushed out the house with Emily and Sam following hand in hand behind them.

Lauren and Sorcha hopped out the truck followed by Adrienne and me.

'Guys...meet Lauren, Sorcha and Adrienne' I introduced. Seth looked at Sorcha then at Lauren and didn't take his eyes off her.

Lauren noticed Seth's staring and waved sheepishly. 'Hi...' (A/N: Aww)

This is going well. 'To the beach!' Paul shouted, lifting Sorcha over his shoulder and running towards the beach, I did the same to Adrienne and followed and sooner or later we were at the beach, I set Adrienne on her feet.

'You need to stop doing that' Adrienne giggled, playfully punching me in the arm.

'Oh...yeah and what are you going to do if I don't?' I challenged, everyone else was heading towards the water, so it was just me and Adrienne by the beach entrance.

'I don't know' Adrienne shrugged, coming closer and looking me in the face. I bent down and kissed her, I didn't want to upset her so I pulled away after one kiss.

'Why'd you stop?' Adrienne asked, pulling my face down towards hers and kissed me, for real this time and not just in my dreams. (A/N: WOO!!)
