Eric showed me the whole school even where the best place to sit on the grass when it's hot outside, he told me he was a junior...I don't even get what that even means but he told me that I was a junior too so...Whehey! (Pronounced wha-hay) Eric came with me to get my timetable, I had English first so I could sit next to Eric and he can talk me through on what I missed out on, English was one of my best subjects...I can never miss out on anything so I accepted this offer with a smile.

We entered the classroom and sat at the back, it took the class five minutes to settle down and stop staring at me before the teacher started the lesson, and he began with a quote from Romeo and Juliet.

'One fairer than my love, the all-seeing sun ne'er saw her match since first the world begun.' The teacher announced looking at me, I looked at Eric with a scared look on my face, and Eric chuckled.

'He does that to all the new students...like a mini test' Eric whispered. I nodded slowly and made an 'Oh' sound.

'What play, who is the author and what act and scene?' The teacher asked. 'And what's your name?'

'Romeo and Juliet, William Shakespeare, act one scene two and the name's Adrienne Carter' I replied, with a smile. The teacher looked impressed, he nodded slowly.

'Correct!-Welcome to the class Miss Carter I'm Mr. Harriman, I can see you're new to the country too' Mr. Harriman boomed.

'Yes...I am and thank you' I grinned, feeling a bit too happy about the attention I was receiving. After my lime light moment was over, a boy turned around to face me with a satisfying smile in his face.

'You got any American in you?' the boy smirked, as If he was waiting for me to complete a joke, I was about to say 'Who's there?' as if it was a reply to a knock knock joke.

'Yes...half actually, my mother' I replied, leaning back into my chair. The boy's friend turned around and burst out into a fit of giggles while the one who asked me the question looked at me in disbelief and they both turned around.

I looked at Eric. 'Did I miss out on a bad joke?' I mumbled to Eric, who was smiling like he wanted to laugh so bad but he couldn't.

'Yeah...next time a guy asks you that question you just say no and let the joke proceed' Eric explained, I placed my head on the desk and groaned...English class didn't go so well.

I heard the door open; I didn't bother looking up until Mr. Harriman said.

'Mr. Cullen and Miss Swan, how nice to see you drop by' Mr. Harriman called out towards the door; I looked up from the textbook my face had connected with and saw the girl and the beautiful boy from this morning.

'Sorry, we're late...family emergency' Bella muttered, looking at me and walking to her seat...too bad I can't burn her bag...I hadn't figured out how to control it, whenever I used it, I had to have a bucket of water by or my hands will burn, luckily I heal quickly, a burn would take about three or four days to heal.

They sat right behind us...great! I looked at Eric but he was facing the back where they were sitting.

'Hey guys...everything alright?' Eric asked, passing two pieces of paper to them that came from the front.

I heard someone clear their throat. 'Yeah...everything's fine, Eric' The girl spoke, I wanted to turn around so bad and ask why they're staring at me so much...but the way the boy looked at me it was as if I'd told him his hair was a bad impression of Elvis Presley in person.

Mr. Harriman popped in a DVD of Romeo and Juliet the modern version that is directed by Baz Luhrmann and stars Claire Danes and Leonardo DiCarprio, I like this version it was funnier and adrenaline filled.

I felt something cold and hard land on my shoulder, I ignored it at first but then I felt something else on my other shoulder, something slightly warmer...more normal feeling. Eric nudged me causing me to whimper and turn to face him.

'Huh?' I answered; Eric jerked his thumb behind me. 'You got callers' I sighed and shook my head.

'You can tell my callers I decline the call, I'm trying to learn' I snarled bitterly, keeping my eyes focused on the screen, Eric made an 'Ooooh' sound, I smiled and rolled my eyes, I love English too much to get caught talking.

The bell rang for the end of the lesson, Eric guided me out the class and into the busy corridor, and I looked around to see what the excitement's all about. Eric and I pushed past the corridor loiterers, to the notice board in big bold writing it read.

'BIG GRIZZLY BEARS SPOTTED NEAR RESERVATION, LOCALS ADVISED TO CALL ANIMAL CONTROL IF YOU DO SPOT THEM' Then it had the number of the local Animal control and information about what they look like. I quickly felt scared, I was a big fan of Winnie the Pooh but now I'm not so excited about the bears.

'I live in La Push, I might get effected' I said to myself, Eric looked at me wide eyed as if I've just grown a tail or something.

'You live in La Push?' Eric asked. I nodded slowly.

'That's where the bears live...there's a word going round that they have a cave or something near First Beach' Eric explained, my jaw dropped. I live like two minutes away from First Beach!

Author's Note:

Just in case you don't remember, in the new moon book and i the film (i think) there was a part where people saw the wolves, thinking they were bears, so this is kind of it going on into Eclipse because Adrienne doesn't know that Jacob's a shapeshifter. Thanks for reading!!
