EIGHTEEN | FLUFF

Kuroo rests his hand under his chin, observing Bokuto's determined scowl as he wrestles with a math problem on the paper in front of him. He can't help but be amazed by his boyfriend's persistence and the lengths he's willing to go to persuade Kuroo into adopting a pet, specifically a puppy.

"Do you need any help?" Kuroo asks, a playful smile dancing on his lips.

Bokuto's pout deepens, but he shakes his head, his determination unwavering. "I can handle this. I'm not backing out, even if it's just a freaking math problem."

Kuroo chuckles, finding Bokuto's determination endearing. It's just a simple math problem, and even if Koutarou couldn't solve it, Tetsurou would happily oblige his wish for a pet.

Before Kuroo knows it, Bokuto is standing in front of him, his brows furrowed with frustration.

Bokuto engulfs Kuroo in a tight hug, burying his face into the crook of Kuroo's neck.

"I hate you so much," Bokuto mumbles against Kuroo's neck, his pout still evident in his voice.

"I know you don't," Kuroo replies, his voice filled with affection. He wraps his arms around Bokuto, holding him close. "So, did you figure out the answer?"

Koutarou pulls back slightly and shoves the paper in front of Kuroo, the answer "I <3 u" encircled in vibrant ink.

"Seriously, Tetsu? I had to rack my brain just to get you to say 'I love you' to me?" Bokuto complains, a mix of exasperation and fondness in his voice.

Kuroo laughs wholeheartedly, his eyes twinkling with adoration. He pulls Bokuto back into his arms, relishing the warmth of their embrace. "I just wanted to see if you remembered what I've taught you in the past."

Koutarou lets out a playful whine, "You're unbelievable."

"So where's my 'I love you, too'?" Kuroo prompts, a mischievous glimmer in his eyes.

"Unfortunately, I love you, too," Bokuto retorts with mock reluctance.

Kuroo frowns, feigning offense. "What do you mean, 'unfortunately'?"

"Gosh, you're so dramatic," Bokuto teases, a soft giggle escaping his lips. "Fine, I love you so much, Kuroo Tetsuro, my boyfriend who never gets tired of teasing me."

Kuroo's grin widens, and he places a tender kiss on Bokuto's forehead. "And I love you, Bokuto Koutarou, my radiant and passionate partner."

Bokuto blushes, his heart fluttering at the affectionate words. Throughout the ride to the pet adoption center, he can't help but giggle at the thought of them looking like a family, embarking on a new chapter of their lives together.

Arriving at the pet adoption center, they are greeted by a chorus of barks and purrs. Bokuto's eyes widen with excitement as he scans the rows of furry companions, searching for their perfect match.

"They're all so cute, Kuroo!" Bokuto exclaims, his voice filled with awe.

Kuroo chuckles, enjoying the sheer joy radiating from Bokuto. "Indeed, they are. Let's take our time and find the one that's meant to join our family."

As they stroll through the aisles, their hearts entwined, they come across a lively puppy with soft, expressive eyes. It's as if a spark ignites within Bokuto's soul as he locks eyes with the playful canine.

"I think we found the one, Kuroo!" Bokuto exclaims, his face beaming with delight.

Kuroo looks at the puppy, a warmth spreading in his chest. "I believe you're right, Bokuto. Let's give this little one a loving home."

And just like that, their family grows by four paws and a wagging tail. From playful walks in the park to cozy cuddles on the couch, their bond strengthens, reflecting the depth of their love and commitment.

In the evenings, as they curl up together, Bokuto pouting for kisses becomes a regular occurrence. But now, instead of a mere longing, it's met with Kuroo's affectionate embrace and a shower of kisses that leave Bokuto grinning from ear to ear.

"I'm glad that I met you, Tetsu." Bokuto whisper to his boyfriend who had a soft smile on his face.

"I'm also glad that I met you." Kuroo responded and kiss his boyfriend's forehead, who hum and smile.
