Clarke's POV:

"Hungry princess?" Bellamy smirks as he sits beside me against a tree and pulls out an apple and hands it to me. For the first time since Finn's attempt, I felt at peace. The constant agony of watching Finn be in pain, the memories of Mount Weather, all of it was too much. But leaving Arcadia felt like a weight drop off me, the feeling of hope that I could survive this. I regretted the words I said to Finn but the truth is that I was hurt, hurt that he would really try to leave me.  I loved Finn so much but he just couldn't stop pushing me away. I miss the soft, warm, welcoming eyes that made me feel at home wherever we were. But Finn has yet to talk to me. I told him to stay away but I thought that if he really loved me he would fight for me, fight for us. Without Finn I felt so empty and alone but now that Bellamy and I are growing closer, the pain is slowly becoming tolerable. I share the apple with Bellamy as we watch the sun rise through the trees. My eyes fall heavy from the days' prior exhaustion. Arcadians around us quickly fall into slumber as I rest my head on Bellamy's shoulder. Bellamy's lips on top of my head are the last feeling I feel as my eyes shut. My eyes pop open as a cloth covers my face. I attempt to reach for Bellamy at my side but a man's arm quickly grabs it before I can reach him. The cloth scratches against my face hard as a man drags me away from the group. I kick and try to scream my way out but the lack of oxygen weakens my every move. As my air finishes, my world slowly begins to as well. As we enter past the trees and shrubs near everyone, I feel the earth meet my face. In shock I do not scream, I try to breath and get up. In the distance I hear a familiar voice shout.

"Where's Clarke?!?!" Finn's voice is a comfort to hear. My breath and body weak, I try to crawl towards the sound of Finn's voice. With the very little breathe I have, I cry out for Finn.

"Fi-" before I could finish my sentence, I felt a sharp, cold blade pressing against my throat as the man quickly gags me.the man turns me to face his piercing brown eyes. The irritation behind his stare was terrifying.

"Big mistake wanheda" the man moves his long  dark hair out of his face revealing sweat dripping down. "I wouldn't want to hurt two love blind boys in the woods" the man leans closer pressing the blade harder against my throat.

"Clarke! Clarke!" I hear Finn's urgent voice grows closer as the rustling of bushes and twigs breaking grow louder. Fear grows in my eyes as I know Finn is near. The man only smirks at me teasing me.

"How bout we lay down and wait for them to pass. For their sakes I hope they pass over" his cockyness makes me sick but I do ask he asked hoping it would be enough to spare Bellamy and Finn. After minutes that feel like an eternity, Bellamy and Finn stop running and Kane catches up. I can see nothing but hear Finn and Bellamy yell at one another before I hear Finn's body drop. Is he hurt?!?! I have to go to him. I try and push my self up but the man beside pushes me back down and shakes his head. We wait till they have left before the man takes off my gag. "There. You see that wasn't so hard." The man pulls on my bound wrist as I protest.

"What the hell do you want from me? What?!? Is it the power of wanheda you want?" I pull harder.

"Don't be naive." The man takes off his sweat drenched shirt to ring. His muscles flex at every movement he makes, it's almost.... mesmerizing. "You're my bargaining chip." The man puts his shirt back on as he lifts my chin to meet him.

"Get the hell away from her" a voice orders from behind me. I turn to see a figure so perfect but am blinded by the sun. The figure step forward sword in hand. Lexa. It is Lexa. The man quickly backs away as ordered.

"Commander?!? I wasn't going to hurt her. I was bringing her to you. I-" he is cut off by Lexa's sword leaning near his neck. "Please commander, I only wanted to bring her to you in order for you to lift my-"

"I know who you are! Roan kom Azgeda. The banished prince." Fury builds behind Lexa's eyes. A look I've never seen on her. The delicate emerald eyes that made me safe and weirdly made me desire their approval, were now dim with anger.

"Lexa he didn't hurt me!" I fear that if Lexa went down this path, the caring and peacemaker Lexa would not come back. Lexa turned at my words and as she gazed into my eyes, I saw the old her coming through and love returning in her eyes.

"I'll grant you the lift, IF you leave and never tell anyone of skaikru's location" Roan accepts and departs. Lexa quickly rush to my side cupping my face. "Are you hurt?!? I'm sorry, I should've come sooner. I saw roan creep up the forest as the sun rose but had to make sure I wouldn't be followed." Lexa rambles as she unties me. After untying the gag she realizes
how close our faces are, mear inches. Her face turns pink as she backs up. "Umm... anyways I'm talking my diplomats down at the moment but you'll still have to lay low for a bit, my warriors have departed already." Lexa rambles on about how Skaikru should return but the sudden click of an all too familiar sound rings in my mind. In the trees I see a man aiming his gun at Lexa, a man I admired on the ark. The man who taught me everything I know about earth. The reason why I'm still alive on this merciless earth.Pike.
