Bellamy's POV:

"Stand down and open the gates" all the guards on post exchange a confused glance with each other at Kane's order. Reluctantly Pike assures the concerned guard men and backs Kane's instruction. The guards and I stand in front of the crying children being held by their mothers in fear. What the hell is this? Questions race through my mind as the creaking of the gate halts. Lexa rides in front with two grounders on horseback beside her, with a small group of grounders on foot led by Indra. God how much Indra annoyed me, convincing my sister to play grounder will get her killed and I will not be able to protect her. Everyone tenses up as Lexa immediately dismounts and rushes at Clarke. On instinct I try protect Clarke but before I can get near I see them embrace. Pure confusion runs through most of the camp at the friendliness of their reunion. Pike and I share a concerned look as Kane welcomes the grounders into our camp. "Welcome Lexa Kom- Trikru" Kane pauses and bows his head in respect before continuing, "we hope you would join us for a feast in honor of your arrival and to the hope of peace." A few guards cheer but both the people of Arcadia and trikru seem skeptical at the idea. Lexa seems to come out of a trance at the cheers and accepts.

"Kane what are you doing?" I follow Pike as he pulls Kane aside.

"We need to find a way to live in peace with these people, hopefully this is the start of it." Kane appealed.

"These people don't know what peace is, they murdered children, our people! This will backfire on us Kane. If I were you I'd call this off."

"Well you're not chancellor and if you have a problem with me in charge, put ur name on the ballot but till then I say peace will prevail." Kane strikes back at an increasingly growing annoyed Pike.

" Even if we want to do this, we don't have the food to spare. Our people barely have enough and we will run out soon if we give them our food. Kane, our people will starve." I advise.

"You're right son, we need to go for a hunt. The fresher the food the better." Kane winks before returning to the suspicious group. "We will have a hunt!" Kane proclaims to the crowd. "Only the best for our guests." Lexa nods pleased with Kane's enthusiasm. A few grounders grow annoyed with the idea as they gather their hunting gear. "No please. You are our guest, there is no need for you to hunt. Our men will take care of that." Kane insists the grounders rest and enjoy the markets as a few grumbles are heard in the Arcadia camp through the cheers of the enlightened people of Arcadia.

Finn's POV:

Peace. For once their is a REAL chance at peace. "Son, take a group out with you for the hunt. We need a tracker to find the food before nightfall." Kane encourages me as he pulls me side holding my shoulder as a proud father. Kane goes back to introducing the grounders to our ways as I spot Jasper walking through.

"We're gonna need some more of your famous moonshine buddy" I wrap my arm around Jasper forcing him to walk with me.

"I'm going to need more materials cause I doubt Kane wants to give them the latrine moonshine" Jasper jokes as we walk towards the gate to meet the group.

"Got room for one more" Clarke rushes over to the hunting group smiling.

" hmmm, depends" I look Clarke up and down just to tease her.

"On what?" Disappointment in Clarke's face to my response tells me that she didn't get the joke.

"On if you're still lousy with a spear" I sarcastically gasp at Clarke hitting me in the shoulder.

"Clarke we need you here" Abby interrupts our laughs addressing the fact that the grounders respect her.

"If you want them to respect you as our leaders you can't have me in there." Clarke appealed to Abby's need for authority. After Abby gives us the okay I grab Clarke's hand and plant a gentle kiss on her knuckles as I pull her out of the gates with the rest of the group. An exhausted Bellamy leads us into the forest looking vivid.
