Chan was pacing back and forth between the living room and the kitchen, looking for snacks, bowls, actually just anything edible but ended up getting more ideas and leaving again from his seat on the couch.

After what seemed like an eternity to Felix, he finally settled down beside the boy who was showing his beautiful smile which never failed to  melt the olders heart.

After school was finished Felix actually planned on going home and playing with his little sister but Chan insisted of spending some time with him and he just couldn't say no.

Even though he was very much aware at this point that Changbin would be jealous or at least displeased, when he'd go home and see 'his belonging' cuddling with his friend, he decided for himself that he couldn't care less about Changbin's opinions anymore.

The latter completely disappeared after lunch.

Nowhere in sight.

And just the thought of what they could talk about or what BamBam could possibly try to get the other into, made Felix sick.

These past few days Felix actually got the chance to witness these little rare moments of seeing a though and dark person turning into a soft and caring one.
A someone you'd love to be around, even when this person was giving you mixed signals. Someone you'd feel oddly safe around despite his dark aura and harsh words. Someone he could like.

Now he was afraid that all this little progress, which actually wasn't much of a progress just by looking at it, would diminish .

Felix was so lost in his thoughts, once again, that he only got knocked out of his thoughts when the TV was suddenly turned off and he heard someone sigh beside him, turning around all his eyes saw was a smiling Aussie.

"Hey" Chan smiled and lightly slapped on the youngers leg in an attempt to lift his mood since how the youngers smile slowly dropped and he seemed to got stuck in his own head.
"Why are you pulling this face on a beautiful day like this?"

"Tzz...you're telling me, you can't be sad when the sun is shining?" Felix joined in on the witty atmosphere. "The sun is already happy enough, I'm just sad for the balance"

"Yeah...sure..." the older laughed as well, nodding his head as if he believed the youngers words. "But the sun isn't allowed to be sad"

"Yeah..." Felix stated with a puzzled expression. "...And?"

Chan dropped his head and awkwardly laughed before looking up again, something Felix recognized as a typical behavior he always did when he was about to say something cheesy or anything that would make him feel shy.

"Channie...don't" Felix tried to stop it but Chan only smiled wider. "But you ARE the sun! Just look at your freckles, they are the sun rays."
With that being sad he leaned closer to examine the beautiful freckles on Felix' face.

This lead to the younger being the one feeling shy and almost embarrassed instead of Chan, who took all the time in the world to cutely poke almost every single freckle and uttering out words of how beautiful they were. Felix only giggled awkwardly and tried to hide his pink cheeks, but clearly failed due to Chan being too clingy with him

"No...now for real..." Chan began speaking with a concerned tone after leaning back on the couch again and letting the flustered one recover. "What is making you sad,hm? What's making you having a hard time?"

"Hm?" The younger looked up with big eyes, trying to think of something good enough to give as a reason when he didn't even know himself why he said he's sad in the first place. But on the other hand, Chan was so dedicated to be there for his friend that Felix felt sick only at the thought of lying to him.
"I guess I'm just confused and I have a lot on my mind lately."
