Soon came the day of their mission, the mansion was filled with chatter early morning as usual, some bickering whilst some having heart to heart chats.

As for what happened the day before, Jisung had apologized to Mark, and of course Mark being the kind and understanding one he is, forgave Jisung without even a second of delay.

Chaeyoung was busy frantically rummaging through some drawers, still in her room-well their room, looking for her ring, yeah the one Jisung gave her. The one she cherished alot but what now she forgot where she left it and was panicking over it.

That was until Jisung came, "Are you looking for something, Love?" he questioned, with hardly any idea what she was looking for this early morning. At the sound of his voice she looked up, and she knew she had to tell him, he can always tell whether she's lying or not.

HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR THE SOULMATE BOND.

"I-uh I kinda forgot where i left my ring"she voiced out clearly hesitant afterall it was a gift from him, not to mention the first ever he gave her.
"Oh don't worry we'll find it, if not I'll buy you a new one" he assured her. "Sung, that was the first ever gift you gave me, i can't believe i lost it, I'm so sorry".

"Love, it's okay don't be sorry, i know it means alot to you and I'll find it for you, promise" he cooed engulfing her in a warm hug and she gladly returned the gesture.

"GUYS come down for BREAKFAST" they heard Taeyong yelling because he hates it when the foods turns cold and that's clearly a disrespectful action towards his hardwork on the food.

"Go ahead I'll be there in a minute" he said whilst pulling away and gently pushing her towards the door. On her way she passed him a sweet smile then walked out.

The living room now a little quite as it was one of the most important missions and there's always a high possibility that someone might get hurt or even worse. "Guys be careful and come back safely" Ten said to the members already all geared up for the mission. They just nodded at him.

On there way, Jisung suddenly remembered something as he slightly nudged Chaeyoung to get her attention. "Give me your hand, Love" he whispered in her ear whilst leaning closer. Again that nickname never failed to send butterflies in her stomach and increased her heartbeat.

Without thinking much she reached out her hand for him to hold, but what surprised her was that, he slid her lost ring in her finger and stroked her hand. "Oh my- thank you soo much, Sung" she mumbled softly as she tightened her grip on his hand. "Told ya, I'll find it" he boasted making her grin.

The next moment they arrived Taeyong started assigning them their positions and guided them a little more. Lastly he looked at the couple or soulmates you might say. "Both of you to the opposite building, stay down and on high alert, inform us immediately incase of an emergency, and plz be safe, now go" he said and patted their heads afterwards then walked away.

"I said I'll protect you, now it's time for me to show it" he said whilst intertwining their hands and like that the soulmates disappeared in the shadows unknown to any other soul and unseen by anyone.

But little did they knew someone already had their eyes on them.

The other members were at the back of the said building, trying to sneak and get back their files that got misplaced and somehow ended up in another Mafia's HQ.

It was a hard and perilous missiom but they had no choice because those files had their members profile and revealing your members identities in the mafia world is like commiting suicide.

The couple was already set at the roof top, of course with the snipers placed carefully and their guns already loaded, clutched on their waists. They were setting their targets when Jisung heard a little shuffling, barely audiable but still he was on high alert.
