"Hey! It's okay Chae you can cry I'm here" Chenle said sitting down next to her so that she'd be in a comfortable position.
"Lele i thought for once i won't have to live like this but i- he just- like that-i cant" she mumbled in between her cries as her voice cracked and she tightened her grip around as he rubbed her back and tried to divert her mind, internally cursing at Jisung.
Two days passed and she haven't been to school, her body was becoming weak since she haven't been in touch with her soulmate but Chenle kept her company and somehow she felt secure with him as he always looked after her when she was down even though they but knew that every soulmate needs to be with the other in order to survive or they can't live for more than five days at max.
Chaeyoung's father was in America working there as a state agent as he left her here almost 3 years ago so he hardly had time to talk to his daughter but he called her once every month to check in on her as she stayed at her apartment alone.
Her condition was getting worse as it was the 4th day but still Jisung didn't came instead Chenle came to see her, she could hardly stand, her mind dizzy and her voice not louder than a whisper.
Chenle couldnt stand seeing her like this, he wanted nothing more than to see her stronheaded persona come back to live and not the one she was now, weak barely even alive" I'm so sorry Chaeyoung-Ah but I promise, i promise i'll make him come to you" he said voice laced with sympathy then he left, striding out in furry.
Tears rolling down her cheeks, she missed her mom so bad, she wanted to scream but her voice betrayed her.
"Jisung get up! I have had enough of your stubborness!" Chenle yelled at him.
"I'm not going anywhere, let her die if she wants to I don't give a damn" Jisung hissed, voice a little louder than a whisper but still be manage to speak, Chenle growled, frustrated as let out a sigh full of anger as he made his way out with already a plan circling inside his head.
It was the 5th day, Jisung was unable get up from his bed and was unable to speak, his body weak as he could hardly open his eyes, his airways restricted making it hard for him to breathe. After seeing his condition Chenle rushed to Chaeyoung's apartment along with Mark as they entered her house they saw her passed put on the floor hardly any sign of life in her body.
They lifted her up to take her to their own home, rushing over to the room of the younger boy they placed her on his bed.
The two were close to eachother yet apart, their hands were intertwined so that they could heal properly.
After a while Jisung's eyes fluttered open and he saw the girl clutching onto his shirt, he slowly got off from the bed trying not to wake her up but unfortunately she woke up disorientated as she stared at him in disbelief, not believing what she was seeing but then Jisung broke the painful silence and said "You can leave whenever you want" coldly.
"But you-" she was cut off as soon as she opened her mouth to speak by his harsh tone "No! Dont get your hopes up".
His words were too much for her as tears gathered in her eyes, threatening to fall but she still managed not to cry. Her hopes were once again shattered to the ground and wanted nothing more to run back to Chenle.
Jisung left without even sparing her another glance and that made her feel unwanted by her own soulmate, the one who's supposed to love her unconditionally.
After he left tears started falling down her cheeks but she harshly wiped them off. She went downstairs with puffy red eyes and her eyes found Chenle sitting alone on couch scrolling through his phone and she went straight to him, her arms around his neck as she tried not to let her emotions get the best of her.
"Chae are you okay? Hey look at me" He asked worried, "He'll never accept me right?" she mumbled hopelessly but the boy caressed her hair and whispered in her ear" You'll never be alone, you have me and whe even cares about him, things will get better I promise."
She smiled at her best friend's soothing words, feeling better afterall he was the one who had always stayed by her side. "You're the best LeLe" she spoke as she ruffled her hair.
