Chapter 39

There was forever in those eyes

The following morning Jisung and Chaeyoung were unusually quiet, two of them didn't knew why each of them was sad, they just couldn't bring themselves to ask. Breakfast went as usual and soon came the evening as Jisung finally mustured up some courage to tell her.

He went to his room but she wasn't there, he then went to Chenle's room but no she wasn't even there. Where could she be? He made his way down in the living room, there he saw some 127 members and a few of wayv. "Uh has anyone seen Chaeyoung?" Jisung questioned as he leaned on the door frame. "Yeah she went in the garden on the second floor" Jungwoo answered as Jisung muttered a small thanks.

Garden

There he saw her, as she had a white rose in her hand not even caring as one of it's thorns had pierced the skin of her thumb. He crouched down beside her and wordlessly took the Rose from her hand as he placed it in his lap then he took her hand in his as he searched his pockets for a bandaid, after he found one he gently placed it on her thumb.

He then procceded with removing the thorns using his dagger as he then handed it to her, she just took it from him, she spoke not even a word because she knew she'd tear up so instead she just placed her head on his shoulder and he started stroking her hair softly.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" Jisung said softly as he gazed at her, she nodded and replied "i-i do but you go first" her voice broken and thick with emotion. He pulled her closer as he leaned his head on her's and breathed her sweet vanilla scent.

"Tomorrow- uh- it's my mom's death a-anniversary, yeah-uh that's it" he said looking down, he still blamed himself for. He stopped himself before the memories of his past could resurface. She looked up at him and saw nothing but saddness on his face, she wrapped her arms around him as she engulfed him in a side hug. "You still hadn't told me what's troubling you, Love" he said despite the aching of his heart.

"It's my mom's death anniversary too,  the last time i went there was 2 years ago, she-she's in Busan" she mumbled as she tightened her grip around him. "Can I meet her? I'll take you to my mom too, if only she could reply" he said as he yet again started stroking her hair, it was something he found out calmed her down.

"She'd love to see you, Jisung and even if your mom can't reply atleast i can go there with you, it's fine i just want to be there with you" she spoke softly as she placed the rose aside and placed her small hand in his larger ones intertwining them. The next few minutes they spent were in deciding where to go first and it was at Jisung's mom as she was in Seoul and hers was in Busan.

It was night as all of them gathered for dinner, prepared by Taeyong a full special meal as he won't be in the country for a few days. "Wow it's amazing" YangYang mumbled as he happily ate his food. "You're cooking skills, WOW!" Lucas said as he blew a kiss at Taeyong. Soon everyone started complimenting, as it was the best meal ever, even Jisung and Chaeyoung complimented.

"Thanks guys and Kun helped me alot so the credit goes to him" Taeyong said as he tasted the sauce Kun made. "Oh mama Kun" Chenle said as he showed him a thumbs up. "Stop calling me that, istg if i hear you calling me 'mama' again I'll make you swallow a whole wasabi" Kun muttered. "But anyway thanks for the compliments but it's Mostly Taeyong's work, i just helped" Kun added.

"Great work, both of you did amazing" Taeil praised as he clapped his hands together in the appreciation  of the food. "Oh attention please!, Taeyong has to say something" Ten said as all the attention shifted to Taeyong.

"I'll be out of the country along with Kun and Ten, we have some business to settle in China, we'll be back in a few days in the meanwhile each one of you will Listen to Mark otherwise y'all know the consequences" Taeyong announced as he stood up ready to head back to his office but stopped midway. "Chaeyoung and Jisung, follow me" he stated then walked away.

The couple was seated infront of him as they told him about their plans for the coming day, he finally looked up from whatever files he was looking at. "Okay so you'll go visit Jisung's mom in the afternoon then take off for Busan to visit Chae's mum and stay there for the night and return the day after, right?" He said as the couple nodded. "Good then, just be on high alert and take your guns from Jimin when you land in Busan, be careful and come back in one piece both of you" Taeyong told them.

"Hyung what about you?" Jisung questioned as Taeyong always used to visit Jisung's mom's grave and Chaeyoung's too. "Oh right, I'll visit both places early morning then take off for China" he replied then dismissed them both as he started doing some paper work.
