5: One way to get his revenge

Suzy's POV

Inhaling deeply, lumabas na'ko sa kitchen. Now with a few drinks to serve in my hand and a calmed self. I just hope na wala ng babaerong Montero na susulpot na naman ngayon dahil baka kung ano pang magawa ko rito kapag hindi ako nakapagtimpi. At ayokong mangyari 'yon because I need this job.

I was able to let out a sigh of relief when I spotted him nowherein sight.

The eighteen dances were now done and everyone were now busy talking with the other guests with glasses in their hands while the other guests were at the food table. A romantic music was still played at the background while a few guests were dancing at the dance floor.

Agad na'kong lumapit sa ibang bisita to offer them for refills. Gina smiled at me nang mapansin niya ako. She was serving drinks as well at the other guests across me kasama ang iba pa naming kasamahan. I just smiled at her before I moved on to the next group of guests.

"Would you like a refill sir----"

My smile was gone in a second nang lumingon sa'kin ang taong inoofferan ko ngayon ng maiinom. The same jerk that I wanted to avoid at all cost tonight dahil baka masisante ako dahil sa magagawa ko rito.

Oh no. I thought tuluyan ko ng hindi makikita ito. Ilang segundo pa nga lang ako rito, here he was again. Kung minamalas ka nga naman ano.

I quickly put up a smile in my face saka tumayo ng maayos, ignoring the stupid grin in his mouth right now with a half empty glass of champagne in his right hand.

"Would you like another drink, sir?" I asked habang nakatingin sa tatlong mga kasamahan nito and never looking at his way.

"Oh sure. Just on time dahil paubos na'yong sa'kin." Anang isang kasama nito which I think in his early thirties.

"Me too." The other answered except the jerk himself.

Iniabot ko na agad sa mga ito ang mga inumin with my eyes avoiding the grinning man before me.

Once I was done, agad na'kong nagpaalam sa mga ito and then whirled around to head to the table at the corner part of that area para kumuha uli ng mga inumin.

I can feel someone's eyes was just following my every move right now but I paid it no heed.

"Klent is here."

I frowned and turned to my right when Gina whispered that beside me while I was just picking up a few glasses of drinks from the table.

"Wag mo'kong biruin, Gina.."

She just shrugged at me saka nakangisi ng may itinuro ito sa may dance floor where a few pairs of a man and a woman were dancing right now.

"Sa gitna. Yong mismong kasayaw ngayon ng debutant."

With a frown, I followed where her index finger was pointing right now and it doesn't take me long to locate him.

He was in his white tuxedo right now habang nakangiting isinasayaw nito ang debutant ngayon.

And by just spotting him here tonight, I suddenly felt happy at that. I quickly scanned the other guests and I felt relieved when his friends, our other classmatess were not around tonight.

"See? Ang yaman kasi ng pamilya niya kaya hindi pwedeng wala siya rito ngayon. I bet you're so happy seeing him here now."

When she teased that, napapangiti na lamang ako rito while shaking my head at her.

"Back to work now, Gina. Enough with that " Saway ko na rito as I resumed what I was doing.

Yes. I am happy to see him tonight but I've got work to do now so I don't have that luxury to ogle at him tonight.
