25: The frustrated playboy

SUZY'S POV

"Are you done?"

"Yeah. Im done kaso nga lang..."

I frowned at him when he trailed off midsentence.

"Kaya nga lang ano?" kunot-noong tanong ko rito with my folded arms.

"Isang room nalang 'yong available nila ngayon. I've already checked us in at room 15 by the way.”

"What???!"

He grimaced and poked out his ear when I shouted that in a rather loud voice. Dahilan para magsitinginan sa gawi namin ang ibang guest especially the attendant at the check-in counter.

"Oh my God. Do you really have to react this way, Suzy?"

"Well, sino ba naman ang hindi mabibigla sa balitang 'yon kung isang room nalang 'yong available rito?? Should I be happy with it then?" I spat with bared teeth.

"Well, wala tayong magagawa diyan." he calmly replied with a nonchalant shrug.

"Kahit gustuhin man nating humanap ng ibang inn ngayon, ang lalim na rin ng gabi so I think it would be better kung umakyat na tayo ngayon. Gusto ko na ring matulog ngayon saka nagpadagdag na rin pala ako ng mga unan at kumot kaya okay na'yon." Saad pa nito saka humikab.

That damn facts really disappoint me.

Kahit ako, inaantok na rin naman ngayon. At ayoko man ang setup naming ito, wala na'kong ibang magagawa kundi tanggapin nalang ang kamalasan ko na makasama itong matulog ngayong gabi sa iisang silid.

Blowing out an exasperated sigh, marahan nalang akong tumango rito.

“Fine. I'll just sleep on the bed and you sleep on the floor. So now, umakyat na tayo."

"What?? Anong I'll sleep on the floor?"

I groaned and glared at him when he complained that as if he had heard me saying that I'm actually a man.

"You heard me, Liam. Sa sahig ka matutulog at ako naman sa kama."

"Sa sahig? Gusto mo bang manigas ako sa lamig ng sahig rito?"

I gave him a pointed look when he exaggeratedly reacted that. Well, siguro dahil kahit minsan sa buong buhay nito, hindi pa ito nakakatulog sa sahig. That's why he was giving me this horror look in his face right now.

"So anong gusto mong mangyari ngayon? Any good suggestion para makatulog na tayo ngayon?"

My brow arched up in suspicion when a knowing smile suddenly appeared in his face while he crossed his arms on his chest.

"I have a better idea. What if.. magtabi nalang tayo sa isang kama at----"

"No. Never gonna happen."

Agad na napasimangot ito when I snapped that.

There's just no way I'm going to allow that to happen!!

"But Suzy---"

"Okay. Para matapos na'to, ako nalang ang matutulog sa sahig at ikaw sa kama. Period."

"W-WHAT??"

When he exclaimed that in shock, napapailing-iling na lamang ako rito.

"Enough with your exaggerated reactions, Liam. Tara na." Aya ko na rito with my annoyed voice before I began to head towards the stairs at the corner of this place.

I felt him followed my lead while he kept grumbling as he tried to keep up with my steps.

"Suzy, you know we can just share that bed at hindi mo na kailangan pang matulog sa sahig." Saad agad nito nang maabutan na niya ako.
