LIAM'S POV

"Dulce, cancel my lunch meeting this 2pm. I have to be somewhere at that hour so please do it."

"Okay sir. Anything that you might want to add in your schedules sir?"

When Dulce, my assistant queried that, I quickly shook my head and just proceed reading some papers without even looking up at her.

"I'll take my leave now, sir."

When I heard her bidded that, tumango lang ako as I still eyeing the contract before me.

A contract I made for the Blaire's Group of companies. I'm trying to get a contract with them because they're someone who can invest for my hotel expansion in Europe. Given how prominent the Blaire family is, mas mapapabilis ang pagpapatayo ko sa bansang 'yon if I could have them invest in that hotel.

Mahirap kumuha ng kontrata sa pamilyang 'to at matagal ko naring nililigawan ang pamilyang 'to. But bless to me. Mr. Benito Blaire's secretary had called me just this morning to meet his boss at 2pm in his office for the signing of contract.

Such a great blessing for me.

After reading through the contract for them, agad ko ng inilagay ito sa suit case ko and then moved on to the next paper.

I was just about to flip the page but a ringing of my phone at my table interrupted me from doing that.

An unknown number registered on my phone screen and with the want to know who the hell was the caller, I quickly received that call.

"William Montero, speaking.."

"Liam, this is Sam."

Pagkarinig sa boses na'yon, nakangiting binitawan ko na ang papel na hawak ko saka sumandal sa upuan ko.

"Itatanong ko lang sana if you can pick me up---"

"Samantha, Samantha! Ikaw pala yan. I thought one of my woman  was calling me now.." nakangiting putol ko na agad rito while leaning my back against the seat.

Oh no. The great Samantha Javier was calling me now.

I heard her let out a loud sigh on the other line, probably because of 'my woman' thing. A manly woman that she was. I could even imagine her rolling her eyes right now because of that.

"Liam, I don't care about your women and dirty lifestyle, gusto ko lang itanong kung may konting free time ka ba ngayon? Hihingi lang sana ako ng favor if you can pick me up dito sa hospital, kailangan ko lang talaga ng-----"

"Wait, wait. What? Hospital? Ano bang nangyari sa'yo? Are you ill?" Takang tanong ko na rito as I straightened up on my seat. Quite alarmed with her being in a hospital.

She must always be safe dahil ayokong tumandang single ang kaibigan kong si Cameron. Samantha is his only chance for that because she's the only living woman that I think could tame that cold bastard.

"I'm not really ill Liam, hindi lang ako makalakad ng maayos ngayon."

"What??!"

That got my full attention now.

"Bakit? Ano bang nangyari sa'yo? Did you try to break Cameron's head using your foot, Samantha? I'm sure that hurt like hell now! Hindi mo na sana ginawa yon! You know, pwede ka naman sanang gumamit ng martilyo.." I advised on her while unable to stop myself from chuckling kahit na dapat tanungin ko ito ngayon kung anong kalagayan nito.
