SUZY'S POV
Ano kayang ginagawa niya rito? Why does she seem like she was scared of something? May nangyari ba sa ilang taon na pagkawala ko? What was she up to this time? Parang ibang-iba lang ito sa nakilala kong Clara noon.
When I thought about her again, napapabuntong-hiningang dumampot nalang uli ako ng papel and then placed it in the feeder.
Simula ng mamataan ko ito noong isang araw, I could barely sleep at night with my mind kept lingering on her sudden appearance. Wondering why she didn't lash at me nang makita niya ako. Dapat sinumbatan niya ko dahil sa pag-iwan ko sa kanila noon. Dapat galit ang makita ko sa mga mata niya at hindi takot. Dapat----
"Ganun mo na ba ko kagusto kaya naman ang lalim ng iniisip mo ngayon?"
Napaigtad nalang ako dahil sa gulat when the bastard Liam suddenly asked that out of nowhere. Freaking the hell out of me!
I glared at him nang ngumiti pa ito na para bang natuwa pa ito sa naging reaksyon ko.
Ano na naman kayang ginagawa nito rito ngayon? I've always avoided him at any possible cost these past few days. And now, talagang ito na mismo ang pumunta rito so I couldn't get away from him.
"Don't delude yourself, Liam---" I quickly bit my tongue when I've accidentally called him by his name.
I quickly scanned my surroundings and I was right! May ilang employee nga na panay na ang tapon sa'kin ng malisyosong tingin dahil sa gagong 'to!
"What? Something wrong? Natahimik ka yata?"takang tanong nito, oblivious with what trouble he was putting me in now.
"Go away now, sir. May ginagawa pa'ko." Matabang na tugon ko na rito, making it audible enough for him to hear before I picked up a few papers again.
Unfortunately, Ms. Ruffa handed me these files this morning. Mukhang gustong-gusto niya nga talaga ako dahil parang balak niya na'kong gawing operator ng photocopier machine rito sa buong buwan na internship ko. Just so wow. I'd really be proud to put this damn experience in my CV.
"You're trying to ignore me again just to push me away. At ilang araw mo na rin akong iniiwasan."
"I'm not just trying, sir. I'm really pushing you away." I pointed out with bared teeth.
"As a boss, you are not supposed to associate yourself to an intern like me dahil baka ano pang iisipin ng ibang tao sa'kin."
I tightly pressed my lips together when I heard him scoffed at that.
"Gaya ng sabi mo, I'm the boss here so I can do whatever I want to do here, Suzy. And besides, ano naman ang iisipin nila sa'yo when we're not even doing anything now? Unless maybe if we're gonna kiss right here, talagang may iisipin sila sa'tin." He answered with a playful voice. Na para bang nang-aasar pa talaga ito ngayon!
Baring my teeth more, hinarap ko na ito and gave him a glare that could make Satan run back to hell.
"Pwede bang umalis ka na rito, Liam? Your fans were already throwing me with their murderous glares right now at kung gusto mo pa kong mabuhay rito, just leave now."
Agad na umarko ang kilay nito while giving me a puzzled look.
"Fans? What do you mean?"
That got me squeezed my eyes out now dahil nagsisimula na'kong mawalan ng paasensya rito.
Talagang inuubos niya talaga ang pasensya ko!
Heaving up a sea-deep breath, I place another paper into the feeder in a rather slapping way.
