12: The kidnapping gone wrong

LIAM'S POV

"Suzy? Hindi ka pa ba lalabas diyan?"

I frowned when no answer came out from the toilet. Mga kalahating oras na itong nagkukulong sa loob ngayon at hindi pa rin ito lumalabas.

Was she really that embarrassed dahil lang sa nakita ko ang mga nakasabit na panties niya rito?

At the thought of her being so flustered earlier, di ko mapigilang mapangiti na naman dahil dito.

Goodness with this woman. Para panty lang.

With a grin, I took a quick scan of her room again. Maliit lang ang apartment nito at konti lang din ang mga gamit nito rito. The walls was painted in white but her things were mostly in dark except these underwears na nakasabit malapit sa bintana.

I didn't know na may mga babae pa rin palang nagsusuot ng mga ganito other than Lacey types.

Shaking off my head, lumapit na'ko sa nakasaradong pinto ng banyo nang hindi parin ito sumasagot.

"Suzy? Naririnig mo ba'ko?" I asked again while knocking the door but still, hindi pa rin ito sumasagot.

Frowning, I leaned my ear against the door to hear what's going on inside. Pero wala naman akong naririnig kahit kaluskos man lang or any sign na kumilos ito.

I tried to twist the doorknob and I felt relieved when it wasn't locked.

Alright. Let's find out what she was doing inside.

"Suzy---"

Hindi ko na itinuloy ang sasabihin ko nang tumambad na ito sa'kin pagkabukas ko palang ng pinto.

Her sleeping form habang nakaupo lang ito sa ilalim ng lababo habang nakasandal ang ulo nito sa dingding sa gilid nito. Looking so fragile down there habang nakapaa lang sa malamig na sahig.

Alright. Kaya naman pala hindi ito sumasagot dahil nakatulog na ito sa kakaupo rito.

Sighing out, lumapit na'ko agad rito saka tahimik ng umupo sa harapan nito. And for awhile, I just stayed there while staring at her sleeping form.

Her light snores were the evidence na tulog na tulog nga ito ngayon. Exhaustion was visible in her face right now kahit tulog na ito.

"...wala akong oras sa mga ganyan because unlike you, I don't have the luxury to do that. I've got jobs to do and a research to finish before next month so no..."

When her words echoed through my head, the more I wanted to take her with me now. She needs a break and I need her to accompany me before mom would set me up for a marriage to any woman. With that thought, I quickly fished out my phone from my trousers' pocket and then dialed some number on it.

In just a few rings, someone answered my call.

"Nakahanda na ba ang lahat?"

"Yes sir. Nakahanda na po. Hinihintay nalang namin ngayon ang utos niyo."

"Good. I'll be there in a few minutes."

I slid back my phone in my pocket saka tumingin uli sa natutulog na babae. Oblivious with my crazy plan right now. And without wasting a second, maingat ko ng iniangat ito mula sa sahig before I carried her bridal style palabas sa silid nito at palabas sa apartment nito.
