As an American citizen, I have noticed that pretty much every other country's citizens say "maths" instead of "math"
I'm not saying it's wrong (because I say a mixture of math and maths) since the full word is mathematics and maths would actually be the right way to say it
But I've been wondering why we say "math" instead of "maths" in America
I suppose it"s because people in the past were lazy and decided to drop the "s" and it became more used as time went on
But who knows
That's just my theory
It's probably not right
Anyways
