Ashton's P.O.V.

"I'm not so sure guys, I mean it's One Direction... they're pop." Luke shrugged.

We'd come back to mine to "discuss" the offer Paul had made us this morning. We were scattered across my room - either sitting calmly or pacing back and forth. Aoife had decided to stay to give us moral support I guess, but she wasn't saying much. Every time I glanced at her she was staring off into space; chewing on her lip. I can't begin to imagine what she thinks of all this. Hell, I don't know what I'm even thinking myself. Touring the world and making my dreams a reality would mean leaving her behind. My mum, Lauren, Harry... It's such a dilemma. I never thought this would happen.

"So? We don't even know what sound we want our music to have yet. We're still learning. Touring with the BIGGEST band in the world would teach us so much." Calum argued.

I nodded in agreement, "Cal's right. We're not gonna be the next One Direction, and the audience will realise that if we perform side by side."

"I suppose that's true. But then there's school as well..."

We spent the next couple of hours going through all the pro's and con's, weighing up every single option we had. In the end, we'd all come to the same conclusion - we were gonna take up Paul's offer.

We were gonna tour with One Direction.

"You alright, sweetie?" I wrapped my arms around Aoife's waist whilst she washed the dishes.

"Yeah." She turned her head to quickly peck me on the lips.

I sighed lightly into her neck. "You know I'm gonna miss you heaps, right?" I whispered.

I turned her around so that her back was resting against the sink, while still keeping my hands on her hips.

"I know, I'll miss you too." She frowned slightly.

"The time will go quicker than you think..." I brushed my thumb over her cheek.

"No it won't." She suddenly sobbed, and I could feel the tears beginning to escape her gorgeous eyes.

"Hey, sweetheart," I kissed the tears from her cheeks, "please don't cry."

"I'm sorry this is so selfish of me." She cried.

I rested my forehead against hers before leaning in to softly kiss her lips. I swallowed her choked sobs until she wasn't crying anymore. She began kissing me back, with a passion I didn't realise either of us were capable of. We broke away to quickly catch her breath.

"Listen to me," I said seriously, "you are not selfish. It's understandable that you're upset and believe me, underneath all the excitement, I am too. I don't want to leave you, not when I just got you. But this could be good for us and our future. I love you so so much." I smiled sincerely.

She smiled back - properly this time. "I love you too, Ash. I always will..."

I hugged her tightly, stroking her soft hair while pressing her body as close to mine as I could.

"...Wherever you are." She whispered.
